Went here this past weekend for brunch with my sis. I've been here before a couple years ago & it was good but it seems that it's gone down in quality. The atmosphere is super cute, but the food was lacking. My sister seemed to enjoy her bananas foster French toast, but my crab cake Benedict was just sad. It only came with one, so like half of an English muffin, barely any Hollandaise (the best part!) and sadly my poached egg was hard, no runniness to be had which was pretty disappointing & anticlimactic. The crab was good just wish there was more of it. Honestly probably won't be going back - there are other brunch spots in Cville that are both yummier and cheaper.

Smaller portions but delicious. We waited about 45 minutes...arrived at 930 and sat around 10 on a Saturday. Service was quick and our server was helpful explaining sides and answering our questions. Recommend this place but I would make a reservation next time rather than just walking in.

Good, not great. The food was a bit over priced for what you received. I got the peaches and cream pancakes for $14. The pancakes were average, the peaches were hard (not ripe, not cooked), and the whipped cream tasted like reddy whip. They were dry, but Maple syrup costs an extra $2 so I ate them as is. There are definitely better brunch spot In Cville.

Service was lovely and fast. Emma was very sweet and attentive. We devoured the banana beignet, fried green tomatoes, strawberry white chocolate pancakes, low down hash, and the baked avocado with eggs. Everything was delicious. Sitting on the back porch distanced from other guests allowed my kids to feel comfortable with taking off their masks. Oh, and the bathroom tile is gorgeous! It's an old home and the atmosphere is charming! Highly recommended for a celebration or a special treat!!

From the time you walk in there is so much to see from the paintings on the wall to the antique furniture. The staff was very friendly and funny. This just made the amazing food that much better. The menu is full of great southern fare. We had the crab beignets, game of scones, and the Cajun breakfast sandwich. All of the dishes where delicious and perfectly executed. I definitely recommend checking them out and make sure you come hungry you won’t leave disappointed.

An absolute gem!So happy we found this place 1 minutes walk from our hotel. We had breakfast there 3 mornings during our stay in Charlottesville. From the wonderful host who greeted us each morning (and always took the time to thank us for returning) to the servers (even those still in training!) the staff was excellent + very hospitable.Delicious food using local ingredients was consistent each time. I was especially grateful for the Gluten-free English muffin option + knowledge of staff.Would highly recommend if you're in the area!

The atmosphere is nice but don’t go without reservation otherwise you will wait. The service was a little slow, it seems that they were understaffed. The food was average. I didn’t like the waffle, i was disappointed because that was not like a waffle normally is. It was like a pancake in waffle shape. Interesting menu, probably worth trying again.

It was a lovely experience and I definitely will be returning… Banana Foster was my favorite!

Amazing. Everything is great! I mean everything French toast is to die for! Chicken and waffle is to die for even more

This place advertises that they have vegan options and are vegan friendly...but that's quite obviously not the case. I ordered the farmers market plate - vegan option. But the vegan option just means they remove things (biscuit, eggs), so I was left with this scoop of black eyed peas and frozen, steamed vegetables. They still charged me regular price -- $15. When I called to complain, they offered me a $5 refund in a few business days. So I just had a coffee and starved the rest of the morning

Farm bell was great experience and service was very quick despite them being slammed with multiple big parties for Sunday brunch. Portion sizes could be a little bit bigger but overall they were decent. Coffee is average.I has the grains of truth bowl with 2 eggs added on top. Very delicious.

Walked down from the nearby Draftsman Hotel looking for a good local breakfast spot. Well, we found one! Service was swift, the atmosphere was beautiful, and, best of all, the food was fantastic. I knew we were in for a treat when our server enthusiastically said my husband’s and my orders were her two favorite dishes—and we weren’t disappointed. I definitely recommend the Bananas Foster French toast (and get it with the berries) and the shrimp and grits (and get it with a side of andouille sausage). I’d happily come back to give this place another spin!

We were looking for a fun little brunch place on our way to the beach and this place didn't disappoint. Supper cute historic vibe on the inside and delicious food! My husband just picked his favs of the side menu, I got their grains bowl and we can't wait to try again sometime. Totally worth a stop in.

This restaurant seems to be set in a very old home. It is beautiful and spacious. The service was great and our orders came out quickly. This place was definitely a hot spot for Sunday brunch. I wasn’t too impressed with our food orders, but I would give this restaurant another try!
