How cute is this place?! I had the chicken, avocado and ranch bowl. The bowl was super tasty and filling. The store itself is so cool. They have all these samples out that you can try. Lots of gluten free, vegan, and organic options.

Every time I'm in town I pop into Feast. It's one of my favorite places in C-Ville. Great cheese, lunch options and the cheesemonger is always the most amazing, friendly person to talk to. They've even given me ice so I can travel home with my goodies.

Honestly, I don't think there's much to not like about Feast! (yes, there's an exclamation point at the end). Except maybe the fact that it's closed Sunday. The staff are friendly, and there are plenty of samples sprinkled through the floor. Free parking too.  It's been a while since I've had their sandwiches, but I was fond of their paninis. In addition to their cafe, they sell a wide range of local, national, and international foodstuffs. Love this. Check Feast! out in the Main Street Market!

I came to the café here for lunch a few times with coworkers while working in Charlottesville during the summer of 2019. I really loved how local this place was, and enjoyed perusing the market, although I never bought anything. The market usually has tasty samples; on one occasion they had some very addicting chocolate-covered caramels, and on another they had bread and a unique and delicious honey-sunflower butter. I always had a hard time deciding what I wanted since so much of the menu (especially in the sandwich section) appealed to me. Over the course of my visits here, I tried the rosemary ham & goat cheese sandwich, the Pho-rench dip sandwich, and the avocado toast. My favorite was the Pho-rench dip; the pho dipping sauce was amazing. I will say the portion sizes are a bit small for the price, but all the food is tasty and thoughtfully prepared. Drink options in the self-serve fridge include kombucha and local iced teas, among other things. When ordering at the café, you order at the café menu board, then go through the market (and pick up drinks, snacks, or anything else you want) before heading to the cash register to pick up. There's a good amount of seating in the market if you have your food to stay. If you want coffee, there's a cool-looking coffee truck in the market. Feast! is a short walk from the Downtown Mall area, as well as the Residence Inn.

I love perusing around Feast's market, sampling the little treats they put out, and finding things I've never heard of before. They offer a great selection of picnic/dinner party/cheese+charcuterie board accoutrements, and you can be sure to find ingredients that will please yourself or your guests. They stock many things that you wouldn't find at a typical grocery store and that are imported from various countries, so expect a matching price tag, but the quality is there. The folks behind the meat counter have always been friendly and helpful when I am in trying to find some charcuterie for a picnic/cheese board. They also sell delicious local bread from ABC which is in the same building complex as them, so it can be a one stop shop basically. I have yet to have an actual meal in their cafe, but it's on my to-do list!

Trendy and locally inspired. I loved the quaint farmers market-esque vibe and the locally sourced foods. I got the Summer Korean Quinoa Bowl, and it was an incredible meadly of interesting flavors from Korean bbq cauliflower to kimchi -- highly recommend giving it a try! Others in our groups got sandwiches and mentioned they thought they were small and overpriced for what you got, but the salads were a big hit. We enjoyed the sampling and the ability to get most menu items, dips, and ingredients to go from the market.

This little market embodies the spirit of Cville. Tons of fresh local produce and locally sourced yummy things! A superb cheese counter, some of the best olive oil and tons of local wines! Not to mention how many little things you can walk around the store and taste. Also a perfect lunch spot! Definitely worth stopping by

Took our grandson here and he asked when leaving "When can we come back." In August we will be back in Charlottesville and he is already planning what he wants.

I was super excited to finally get a chance to try Feast's cafe! I have been in the area many times but was never able to catch it when the cafe was open. All of the sandwich flavor combos sounded so amazing and mouthwateringly delicious that I had to give it a shot. On top of everything, they even offer gluten-free, yay! Unfortunately, however, I was really disappointed. The chicken and fig sandwich was just deli chicken, not real chicken, and the flavor was really nothing special. I was expecting something more special. I do not even eat deli meat at home, so that was disappointing, as was the fact that it was just on regular sliced sandwich bread, at least the gluten-free version, but the flavor was less than memorable. I was really flabbergasted by the quantity for the price too. I loved that it came with a side, I chose the quinoa, but not very memorable overall. It was like a single thin slice of deli meat chicken. I wish I could feel differently, but I have no plans to patronize the cafe again. I will stick with the store, which I absolutely love. Now, the store is a true treat. It is gourmet with very gourmet prices as well, but you can find everything you need for a great party or, well, feast! You can find local and important cheeses of all varieties, artisan cured meats, lots of homestyle treats from small business locally and nationally, spreads, dips, candies, nuts, and tons of samples, mmm! This place is a cook, entertainer, and food lover's dream! They even have cool individual serve refreshments with fresh, simple, clean, and delicious ingredients. They are pricey, but a unique treat. The store is definitely worth a stop if you're in the area, and even worth bringing a cooler to be able to bring home some yummy cheeses and such, mmmm mmm! The service is great and very knowledgeable and helpful too!

If you are in Charlottesville and you are in the need for some high end supplies, say some cheese and cured meats, then this is the place to go. Good picnic lunch options and a decent wine selection as well. I didn't try their coffee, but it sure smelled really good in the store. Parking can be a challenge in Cahrlotteville, but Feast has a good lot.

My family and I went here during spring break and it was absolutely wonderful. This restaurant had amazing service as well as amazing food. Feast invites you to take as many samples as you please, and the samples are amazing as can be. Their latest products are on display. The food is healthy and tasty, and with wonderful service and food, you can't go wrong with Feast.

This is by far my favorite lunch spot in Charlottesville! They have a wide array of options and while I wait for my food, I walk around and try all the samples they have (the olive oil is my fave!). The seating area outside the market is nice, I can have a great conversation and hear my friend. It never feels too crowded during the week for lunch. After I have my lunch I always sneak over to the coffee cart to get an apple cider donut and a coffee. If you need a quiet place to have lunch, definitely check out Feast.

My gentleman had a birthday recently and I wanted to order something special that could be delivered to his work place. I came upon Feast's website in the process of looking for deliverable edibles. Wow, what a great decision. The day after I placed the order, my gentleman was the recipient of the "Wine Country Hamper - Gourmet Picnic" and it was full to the brim with a variety of delectable treats: cured meats, local cheeses, house-made crostini, gourmet cheeses and so much more. Absolutely a delight. Couldn't have enjoyed it more. Made for a very special meal.

First time eating here.. Ordered the "Pho-Rench Dip" sandwich to go. A supposed "staff pick", should be good right? Wrong!! I'd have to say this was the most disgusting sandwich I've ever had the displeasure of eating. The most prominent thing about it was the overpowering taste of the "spicy mayo" which was slathered on, most likely trying to disguise the utter blandness of the rest of the sandwich. The pho broth was terrible. Might as well have been dipping into dirty hot water. Again, no flavor. The turkey also bland but with a delightful slimy texture that did not taste fresh whatsoever. This gave me a terrible stomach ache, and left the worst taste in my mouth. I cannot stress enough about how bad it was. I can't say anything else about this place other than it's your typical overly pretentious Charlottesville (trying incredibly way to hard to be something that it's not) restaurant(?) type place. Please stop kidding everyone with all the other nonsense on this crappy "sandwich" and give everyone what the kitchen staff loves so much about this and gob on heaps of pink food dyed dukes mayonnaise on a Kroger hotdog bun instead. (Served with hot water) Because that's what it tasted like. -Done-
