Very average typical tex mex. Resturaunt has started charging high prices for its very mediocre food. Only eat this stuff if its catered. Oh. And staff may attempt to sell you non food related items, like electronics. Wierd huh?

Been eating here for many years but just received my online order for a chicken combo entree that included two soft tacos & beans. The entree itself was $16 so with driver tip & taxes. Around $25. I was shocked to see that they are now passing off a street taco as a regular taco size and look at the fillings in the cups. Cheese in the big cup and chicken in the 1oz cup. Seriously? This is terrible. I love the fact that they’ve stayed in business but the quality is questionable for the cost:(

The food and in person service is usually great. However, I noticed the prices for adding extras to your meal(I’ve attached a photo for reference) $1.50 for maybe half a bite of shredded chicken? A bit absurd to be honest. Especially if you look at the average costs of chicken thighs/breasts per lb. At anywhere between $0.30 to $3.80 PER POUND you would expect to get a bit more in portion sizes than a measly 1oz container. If they’re selling their customers chicken that costs $1.50 per ounce then I hope they’re passing those sales onto their staff/employees and paying them a decent wage.

This place was delicious. Admittedly, it took a few minutes to get greeted, and they weren't busy at all. But, our server was nice and the food was absolutely amazing. Salsa has a little kick, which we liked. Definitely get the queso, it's the highlight of anything else you could order. Definitely glad we came.

I've patronized Guadalajara (downtown and Pantops) for 20 years or so. The food is good the service is good but the prices have gotten outrageously expensive for Mexican fare. Recently, I got the burrito California lunch special. My wife got a taco salad. Both kids ate off the kids' menu, and the bill was $92. No beer or wine. Soft drinks only. I understand the rising costs of everything and overhead and paying employees and such, but what would make a fun, easy dinner out with the family has become less of a carefree dining choice now that it costs a hundred bucks every visit.

First time ordering from here. Ordered delivery. Food was missing from the order. When I tried to call to ask for help they hung up on me.

Great food, cool tables, and a good end to a day trip. The bathrooms were really small but everything else makes up for it. I get nachos at every single restaurant and there's were better than expected. I would

The food was a lot, delicious and great overall compared to the price! They have a good selection and the staff is very nice. The restaurant has a lot of light and the tables are very colorful! I will definitely come back. They even have kids menu optionsKid-friendliness: Kids menu
I used to be a fan of this location, having dined here for over 30 years! but it has changed recently. The food was so so. Entrees were good, but the beans and rice not so much. The beer was cold, and they sell by the pitcher which was great. Service was good. The bathrooms are a wreck. Very small, and very dirty. The Greenbrier location is much nicer.

This place is my GO-TO! It’s so very nice & has the most AMAZING food HAND down!
They have some pretty decent Mexican food here - none of their dishes were really standout, but everything was still good. Good enchiladas, good burritos, and good salsa. They have seating both inside and outside, which is nice. Service is kind and efficient. Their margaritas were a little too sweet for my liking, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed them. Wouldn't make a trip to Charlottesville to eat here, but it would definitely be a place I'd stop by if I was already in the area.
