What an awesome place. Loved the vibe, the ambiance, and the decor. Very much I’d go non-stop for drinks.The food leaves a lot to be desired. The smash burgers were fine, nothing special. The crinkle cut fries were Ok. Their house sauce tasted like a very pickled version of the Big Mac sauce, and the cheesy fries were not worth it.Overall, I’d go to drink, but not eat

I personally liked this place. Other than it's small inside. The food was really good. Just a small portion. And they don't have much on draft for being a beer and burger place. I was kinda disappointed by that. I would still definitely go back for a beer and burger next time that I'm craving one. I personally feel there are a few things that they could do better.

Have to share this great experience with Jack Browns located in Cville... Last night we ordered 4 burgers and fries with some fried Oreos to go, I know yum. Once we arrived home we found None of the burgers had Jack brown sauce on them or on the side, same with our fries. I was devastated. I chose Jack browns over Riverside and Citizen burger for the sauce. I called to let JB know my disappointment but also to remind them to distribute that sauce to every customer for the rest of the night! They were very apologetic and told me they would credit my account and they did! I will be returning to JB I’ll just double check the sauce this time!

It's a small bar with patio seating. Bet it is a lot of fun in warmer months. Bar was full when I went on Wednesday night.Had the special burger of the day. Kitchen missed that I didn't want the bacon. The burger was tasty. The take-out was packed well, included a pickle, sauce, ketchup packets. Staff at the bar also put in napkins in the paper carry away bag.Will come back again for the experience. Their beer menu is available online and stocked with beers from independent brewers.Parking: Water Street Garage is right there by the burger joint.

Hard to get a seat at the bar with some rude people occupying multiples of them. Staff should have a grip on this. Food was basic but good. I would order the double patty if you are more than a little hungry. Predominantly younger clients. Worth a second
