very good food for its price, not expensive at all compared to all restaurants raising its price.

The quality of the food has gone downhill. I was a regular for take out. But the authentic taste which was there before the start of 2024 year is no longer there! Will not recommend this place anymore because of the food quality!

Start of 2024, taken over by new management. I dont think they do spice levels anymore, because I ordered a green curry at Thai-hot level and it was bland, kind of watered down. They gave a "hot sauce" on the side that was definitely not hot either. Shame, because, their flavors were very authentic before and the heat levels very legit. I was a regular, but I don't think I will be coming back without Thai-level heat on their foods.Service is good however, and the restaurant space is nice, can accommodate large groups.

Lovely little restaurant tucked away under the garage; perfectly prim and calm atmosphere inviting you to enjoy a number of wonderful dishes. Staff are welcoming and friends, and best of all expedient, and the food arrives fresh and hot, delicious in spice and flavor. Highly recommend.

We were just passing through Charlottesville and had a craving for some Thai food. We stopped at Lemongrass and had some of the best Thai food we have ever had! I had the mango curry. The waitress was so polite and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

A weekly stop for me! Unbelievably delicious food, service is very kind and sometimes takes a bit but they do everything themselves and are always non stop working hard. I recommend everyone I know to come try the best Thai food in town!

The woman who was serving is really nice. I ordered Shrimp Drunken Noodles. She mistakenly served chicken one. When I informed that they immediately changed it. Also offered the previous drunken noodles for free.Food was delicious and healthy.

I ordered a meal with two dishes for take out and, according to my order confirmation page, it was canceled ten minutes later. I tried calling to verify whether or not it truly was canceled and whether or not my card would be charged but no one answered, even after calling three times. I usually like this place but I feel that the service has declined a good amount.

I wanted to like this place because of the convenient location and great prices, but it is not vegetarian friendly and does not do a good job of accommodating nut allergies. All dishes with fried tofu are fried in peanut oil, or oil with peanuts in it (this was unclear by the chef). The most popular noodle dish, the Pad Ke Mow or Drunken Noodle is made with oyster sauce, so it’s not vegetarian. The first time I came I asked to substitute fried egg for the peanut oil-fried tofu, but this substitution was not welcomed. The chef commented that traditional Thai food had peanut—which I understand, however I felt there was little done to be mindful of common peanut allergies for US audiences. Service is also very slow, when I went in today the chef was setting tables and taking orders, indicating an understaffing issue.

Good food for the price. Their Penang Curry and Drunker Noodles are always top of my list. The food can be spicy if you aren’t familiar with spices, so I’d recommend having mild spiciness if you aren’t sure.

One of my all time favorites. I used to order multiple times a week as a student at UVA (lucky me, I lived right next door!). Super affordable, especially for lunch. Woke up with a hankering for the pad thai this morning. Might have to make a roadtrip soon…

i’m not the type of person to write bad reviews for restaurants, especially locally owned restaurants that are obviously struggling due to short staffing problems during covid times. however i felt morally obligated to tell people to stay away from this place. i am sick to my stomach as i write this review and have been for hours after eating at this restaurant. after a friend and i waited over an hour for our food, i was initially served pad thai with meat in it (i’m vegetarian). my friend was not brought one of the dishes she ordered at all and we had to ask for it again. once i tried my curry, it seemed much spicier than what i ordered, but i was so hungry after waiting so long i ate it anyway. the restaurant had customers standing all over the place, waiting for their orders, with only one server attending to the entire dining area. at one point another customer had been waiting so long he asked the server to just, “give him anything they had ready” because otherwise he would be late for his class at UVA and he was starving. not long after eating at this restaurant i became very sick and have been for hours with no end in sight. i'm sure i got food poisoning from here. please do not go to this restaurant, there are many better, safer options close by.
