My vote for the best locally-produced beer in Charlottesville. The head brewer worked at Maine Brewing Co and you can instantly tell the connection. Malt and hop selection emphasize nuance and not overwhelming single note flavor. Most beers are clean, refreshing and complex. The pale ale is one of the top 3 beers I have had from Virginia.
Must try the Unreasonable IPA. Wow. One of the best hazy IPAs I've ever had in my years as a beer tourist. Their other brews were okay, but I say just go straight to the Unreasonable. You won't regret it.

This was my first time tasting the beer and was quite impressed. Every beer was a fine example of the style and was extremely pleasurable to drink. The staff was nice, friendly, professional and well informed on the brewing process. Loved the atmosphere and shady location.
