Best thai I have had thus far in Charlottesville. Mostly writing this so I myself remember which place it was. They had this ground beef and green bean dish that was spicy and so good. My sister who is allergic ate it even though she knew it would give her hives because it was that good (soy allergy). She said it was worth it.

Great service! Delicious food! Generous portion! Dining area is a bit cramped but still comfortable. We ordered Silk Calamari, Silk Crispy Duck, and Pork Chili Salt. All were very good but our favorite was the Pork! Their Thai Iced Coffee and Tea are great too! Highly recommend!!

Silk is our go-to Thai spot in Cville because of the quality and quantity of food. Their prices are more than I'd like to pay but I do anyway because the other restaurants in town are about the same if not more expensive. Tons of veg options. We love the drunken noodles, green curry, tom kha, and papaya salad. My favorite app is the tofu summer rolls--that peanut sauce is the perfect ratio of peanuty, sweet, and salty. I've placed around 10 takeout orders here and have never had issues with my order being wrong or leaky curry etc.

even though it's a college town and most of their customers are broke undergrads, I still think Silk Thai is a great place to go for a nice dinner. Their plating and cutlery is so nice and the outdoor patio is really cute. Honestly a good date spot

Ordered take out. Ordered both dishes to be medium spicy - was so bland I think they passed on everything except fish sauce. And the sauce and/or meat was so burned that I could not eat it and threw the whole dish out. Incredibly disappointing. With choices like Pineapple Thai, Lemongrass and Lime Leaf in town, will definitely not be returning to Silk Thai.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! Visiting from out of state and this is an incredible find. All the food is fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. So happy we got to try it before driving back home!! The basil wings are SO GOOD!

Finally found good Thai food in c-ville. The green curry is amazing and the sweet and sour chicken was also great. I can't wait to have it again.

I generally don’t leave negative reviews but this is probably the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. I ordered sweet and sour chicken which was mostly breading and almost no chicken. My dad got the crispy duck. The sauce was awful and it was a child’s size portion. Paid $60 for 3 people and none of us got the value of what we paid for.

There are many thai restaurants in Charlottesville but this place is my favorite. Food is excellent and service is great. Portions were really generous too. Parking seems tight in the front but there were plenty of extra space behind the restaurant. Will come back soon!

Probably the best Thai restaurant in Charlottesville! Great serving sizes! The dining room is a little small, but that makes it cozy! The Khao Soi is worth getting, and can be shared between two people.
