A bit over-priced for the food but I may still return because it is possibly the best Sushi in town. The light was dim, had to use an iPhone flashlight to read the menu. Overdoing the ambiance has a counter effect on the business model.
We had an incredible experience here! Not only was the service amazing but the quality of the food was chefs kiss-unparalleled by any sushi we have had before. We got several rolls and the sea bass. We will definitely be going back!
We had reservations at 5:15 and it took quite a while to get our drink. We ordered anappetizer to have with our drink and then Soup afterwards, but they all came at same time which was awkward. We had 2 chef specials and they were VG but the sea bass broth and veggies were virtually tasteless. The seabass itself was delicious. We had 2 rolls . The Hotate was tasteless and disappointing. The tiger roll o was delicious, but not really different or unique from other sushi bars. So for the price, it was not of value. My Manhattan was a surprising $19. That is very steep even for a fine dining restaurant. Our first visit the food was outstanding. This visit was sadly a disappointment.
We loved going back to TEN with our sushivores and skeptics. The skeptics were very happy with the chicken yakitori skewers, gyoza, and their tentative bites of the crab roll turned to true enjoyment. The sushivores amongst us were happy happy happy! The fresh uni special was especially delightful!
