Service by the two females at the counter was amazing. I ordered a ham sub for my daughter and a cheesesteak for myself. While the quality of steak was fine I think cross contamination happened somewhere because it tasted like tuna fish. While it was edible the tuna taste kept throwing me off. I think I will stick to the day shift I've never had issues with the food during day shift their pizza is delicious and subs are always on point. But this is the 3rd time that I came at night and neither time was ok food wise. But tbh it was the same cook that looked like he'd rather be anyway else.

The owner just cussed at me & hung up the phone when I asked if they accepted debit cards to purchase money orders..told me to never call again when I asked him to please clarify. Very disrespectful & distasteful ?

Food is okay just not in the summertime way to many flies !! Service is hit or miss the workers can be very rude at times and have no phone etiquette. Outside my have ppl asking for change at times or just sketchy people around. All in all it's what you make it you can find your favorite childhood snacks, drinks and candies. Would recommend the subs.

Used to be my favorite spot but think they have new owners now definitely not the same ingredients lunchmeat was knockoff not boars head like they used to be. This broke my heart and definitely not as good as they used to be I even went twice to give them a second chance and it was definitely disappointing no more ice cream cooler etc. This place used to have everything any drink, ice cream, any snack u could think of now not so much this really made me almost shed a tear. The Indians ran it into the ground it was better when the Arabs or Dominicans or Puerto Ricans or whatever ethnicity they were they were cool as the other side of the pillow too lol but yea I guess it's true what they say nothing lasts forever. Shoutout to the old people that used to run it ? I used to eat here daily with my father that has passed and used to be one of his favorites so I'm beyond disappointed as it will never be the same. Why mess up a good thing sorry not sorry rant over tighten up Mr foodmart!

I had their cheesesteak and it was fantastic. It's not quite the same as a Philly cheesesteak since they are clearly using a higher quality meat, but the taste is where it's at! I put my seal of approval as a Philly girl!

great food i got the godfather 8 inch hot was the best sub i had in a long time for the people saying "hood" and "hole in the wall" we have completely different definition of these terms its a typical bodega if it was in new york no one would use these terms. shrugs

There’s subs are excellent but they start something an change an don’t put anything up during the summer there lunch subs included a soda which i thought was decent for the price but now it’s the same price with nothing included if i wanted to pay almost $8 for a sub i would just go to subway an have the whole lunch chips an drink included had they told me i could have left or had the decision

This is a hidden gem of corner store. Great sandwiches and hot dogs, they even serve whole pizzas and by the slice! I love the "godfather" sandwich with salami and pepperoni. Nice selection of deli meat and cheese on hand for sell by the pound or right onto your sandwich! Plus all of your corner store needs.

I heard about this place and passed by it a few dozen times but didn't bother to go since the area wasn't the best but definitely don't judge a book by its cover here. I ordered a philly cheese steak all the way with provolone and it was damn good! The price was very very reasonable and service was quick. It's what some might consider a "hood spot" but I found the experience pretty good, clean inside and friendly employees. For the price, I'd stop by here over most mainstream places for a philly cheese steak or other sub shops any day of the week. The bread was soft and tasty and the sandwich itself had good flavor all throughout. They also have a really cheap combo deal and plenty of drink, chips and snack choices to go with the subs. I did forget to mention that they also make fresh pizza and sell by the slice and pie too. I was looking at getting a slice but if the sub I bought was good, I planned to go back. It looked like large NY style slices too.

I just when to cash my check i this lady tells me that she can't cash it because she don't know the company i work. Excuses if you didn't want to cash it just say it like it is, so you have to know the company to cash a check why you don't go and google it and teach ypur self a little and that you don't need to know a company to cash a check. That is why it have numbers that identify where is from.

The food is good but they charge you anything we paid 25 dollars for two subs and 4 drinks they charge you what they want and don't give you a break down on your receipt.
