We ordered takeout here for the first time last night and it definitely did not disappoint!! The freshest ingredients, large portions, and the presentation of the food was amazing, even in the to-go boxes! I’ll never order sushi anywhere else in Chesapeake from now on.Vegetarian options: All menu items explain what’s in the dish or roll.

I cannot believe its taken me so long to eat here. Date night with the hubby. We purposely didn't take our phones with us on date night, so unable to take pictures of the amazing sushi. We ate the Spicy Maki Combo, Spicy Girl roll and my favorite was the Romantic Date Roll. OMG!! Mango in sushi!! that was amazing!! Yes that's a lot of sushi for 2 but don't judge, we crushed it.. lol..Presentation on each dish was beautiful, the Romantic Date Roll plate looked like little hearts. I never knew how good mango in sushi would be. I'm still thinking about this roll. I will say our server never introduced herself by name, but I'm thinking that's the norm lately. However she was great and very attentive and food was quick. And to top it off, this meal did not seem expensive for everything what we got. All this was maybe 50 and then tip. No phones, Good conversations and full belly.. What more could you ask for. Will go back again for sure.

My family and I finally had a chance to visit this cute little hibachi restaurant, which is located in a quiet little shopping center in Great Bridge. I have eaten at a few hibachi locations in Hampton Roads, and I must say that this one was the biggest disappointment. My wife had the shrimp and scallop hibachi. She complained that the scallops did not taste like scallops and that they were pancake-thin (pictured) . Also, the shrimp were overcooked. As for my meal, I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi, which I must say the steak was delicious, but the chicken was a little undercooked. The portions were good, and the service was great.

I made reservations for 6 of us on a Friday evening just in case they were really busy. Turns out they were just the opposite. There were sign everywhere posted that they were in need of servers and cooks. The place was empty except for 1 booth. The server was a young lady that seemed very anxious. We were a happy bunch and so I know we weren't rude to her, but she just seemed out of sorts. We all ordered appetizers, drinks, and our food. We all basically got either hibachi or sushi rolls. Everything was delicious. I must point out that their cucumber salad is unlike anywhere else we've been. Instead of a vinegar based sauce, the cucumber salad was a creamy consistency. Still yummy. Just very different. Everything was delish. The server did a wonderful job. I would definitely come here again!

This place is good usually but the quality can vary. I've had the teryaki/hibachi chicken multiple times and sometimes its perfect, other times the chicken is super tough and boingy. The staff is great, all the sushi is amazing.

My daughter and her family took me to Shiki last night and I can't stop thinking about when I can go back again. I had only tried sushi one other time and nothing compares to Shiki. Everything is so fresh and delicious; I felt like it was prepared in someone personal home and served to me.

Great lunch menu for sushi and hibachi. We dined in on a Saturday, pleasant service. Quick and clean. My picky eater tried noodles and chicken and was very pleased! We will be back.

Tony and Jennifer run the best Japanese steak and sushi house I've ever eaten at. They use only the highest quality meat, chicken, and seafood and you can tell. And they make you feel like family when you're there!

First time back post Covid and was very disappointed. The food and service quality has diminished significantly. Couldn't help but wonder if ownership had changed. It appeared that only teenagers or young adults were doing everything. In addition to the poor preparation the presentation was like it was just thrown on the plate. Had to request the standard sauces and dishes for soy sauce etc. The restaurant was nearly empty, I guess people have had similar experiences.

Returned and had a much better salmon portion for lunch! So just luck of the draw that day I think! Also, I like they use the good ginger dressing and not the Mayo kind of dressing for their salad. (Pics of better salmon and salad added).

Horrible service. Food was very disappointing. Over priced! Would not recommend!!

Shiki is amazing. I always have a hard time choosing between hibachi and sushi, but you can't go wrong. Their lunch specials are a great deal, too!
