Service was excellent. The building is a little dated. Tables and chairs were old and some of our chairs were very worn and unstable. The food was just ok. My first all white (no green) Cesar salad in many years. And it was swimming in dressing. Probably will not return.

I recently visited the restaurant after not being there for a long time. I'm sorry to say that it has gone downhill. The service was decent, but the food was terrible. I had a side salad; the lettuce was wilted and splotchy, the tomatoes worse, and the croutons were either rock hard or soggy. People at my table ordered various items, and the portions were small. After this last visit, I doubt we will ever go back.

The food was good but their were very few gluten free options. I ate a shrimp Cobb salad. The building was accessible and they had a lift to get me from the upper level to the lower. The staff were friendly. The bathroom was accessible and clean. I just wish there were more GF itemsDietary restrictions: Howlett's has an extremely limited number of gluten free items on the menu for lunch.Parking: It was challenging to park. There are only two handicap parking spaces and they are at the end of the building. The parking lot is shared by several businesses, so it was really full.Wheelchair accessibility: Building was accessible. They have a lift to get between upper level and lower level dining. The bathrooms are accessible and tidy.

I'm so happy to have this Jewel. New to area and Howlett will be go to Dining venue. My friends and I had a wonderful meal before the Show at the Perkins Performing Arts Center. Thank you, Howlett will be my new dining venue.
First time here. Decor has an antique like vibe. While the batter of the fish was bland the texture made up for it. The inside was nice and flaky, the outside wasn’t overly oily. Tartar sauce was good. The fries were crisp and fresh. The parmesan Brussel sprouts were done just right. Portions were perfect. Excited to come back and try other entrees on the menu.

Had reservations but came early to have a drink at the bar and was totally ignored by bartender as though we were invisible. So we left walked a block to get a cocktail then back for dinner. Our server was fine made mistakes but he was extremely busy so that was no big deal. Food was
Haven't been here in a while and probably won't be back for a while. Average food, average service, average drinks, kinda dark( had to use the flashlight on my phone to see the menu clearly). It's an ok restaurant. Wife went to put what was left of her salad in the to go box and a hair was on the plate at the bottom so that ruined it for her. Go try it for yourself, maybe you will like it.
