This was my first time here, it was recommended me by someone I just meet. And I’m just gonna say that the food was the delicious!!! No complaints about any of the food that I had ordered. My son loved it and He’s one that is always getting me to try different places I will definitely be back. Everything was fresh. The bread pudding was awesome!! So flavorful and firm I enjoy tasting the vanilla definitely just everything that I had was perfect. I will be back. This is my go to hidden gem.
Ordered delivery many times. Want to love this place so badly but there is never any consistency with the food other than the seasoning on the friend chicken. I have received over cooked fish, sides that you aren’t sure where they came from because they taste like there are multiple chefs in the kitchen. One time I received yams/sweet potatoes that tasted like they came from a fruit cup.

I tried the macaroni and cheese. The noodles were mushy and had an unpleasant texture. They were overcooked. The yams were burned and had far too much lemon extract. Lastly, I ordered the seafood platter, and the seafood was overly seasoned and clearly cooked in old oil. The seafood was very dark and greasy.I didn't care for the meal, but the customer service, it was stellar!

I have visited this establishment on many occasions but the last few visits I wasn't impressed with the food.. not sure if the cook has changed but the food no longer tastes as good as it use to... the Mac and cheese and and black eyed peas taste like it came from a box and can... didn't taste like homecooking... the cake wasn't fresh they definitely need to improve on their food and or get another cook....probably won't be going back

Love this place. Never had a bad meal here. They stopped dine in since covid. Take your food and go. Very clean place. They have TONS of cakes, desserts too! The greens are yummy, the chicken. Go there!

We ordered Mr. B's at least once a week during my mom's hospice journey. She loved the liver and onions, and I couldn't get enough of the fish. Last week we ordered a bunch of sides to celebrate her first heavenly birthday.Anytime a problem arose, whether they were out of orka or carrots, they'd call us to switch out for an available side. Customer service has always been superior. Thank you, Mr. B's, for the comfort food and care.
