Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Our server was Mario and he was fantastic! It was restaurant week and menu was different but he was able to have the chef prepare my favorite dish! Every dish was great!

We went as a special Birthday dinner for our daughter. Limited menu selection and seating was very tight. Food was average and was warm at best when served. I had the veal and it was not tender but was paper thin. The mushroom was cut thicker than the veal. The servers were rushing us out by bringing the next course prior to finishing the current course. The pasta dish was under cooked on one dish and the seafood pasta was over cooked. Spent well over $200 a not worth it, IMO. Parking was terrible as we had to park 4 blocks away and when we got out the stairs were locked so we had to walk around the ramps to get to our car. No plans to return.

OMG!! This place was amazing! We did the restaurant week & I got eggplant Bechemel, the Spicy Scallops & shrimp over Linguine pasta was amazing!! Best scallops I have eaten in a long time.. Dessert was supurb too! We each got a chocolate mousse, tiramisu & cheescake. All was amazing! Staff was supurb! Will be back soon!?
We went during restaurant week and the fixed menu had many options and the items I picked were delicious. The staff was nice. The only complaint would be the closeness of the tables so the noise level was higher than normal. Also the front door didn't close properly so several times I had to get up to close the door to keep the cold draft from coming in.

Came here for my Senior year Homecoming, and I was sorely disappointed. My girlfriend and our friends were eating here, and we were being served by the Owner who left a very poor taste in our mouths. After we were seated for our reservation and had taken a look at the menus, the Owner walked over to take our orders and I begun to speak for my girlfriend and our close friend who were splitting a dish (I was paying for myself as well as them, and she prefers me to order for her when we go out). When I begun to order the Owner interrupted me to passive aggressively say, “Let’s let the ladies order first.” He took my order last and overly-corrected me on the pronunciation of my order, and when I described the check being split he refused to comprehend anything I was saying and was very difficult. Everyone at the table noticed his aggression and he made all of us feel uncomfortable. When we got our food we were all disappointed that everything was lukewarm and nothing tasted very fresh. The Owner came back a last time to give us the check and thank us for dining but he refused to make any eye contact with me and was just generally aggressive during our entire experience.The other staff were good at being on top of our waters but they weren’t very personable or friendly. Overall we had a poor experience, the Owner treated me with aggression and prejudice making us all uncomfortable, and the food wasn’t tasty and fresh enough to be as pricy as it was. I read reviews online prior to dining and I had my hopes up for this to be a nice restaurant for us, but unfortunately, I was wrong and I will not be returning or recommending.

Went here for Valentine's Day. They had a special menu for the day that was heavy on the seafood but with some other options. Faire wasn't particularly Italian or tasty, especially considering the price. Service was so so as well.

We were surprised to find out that they still had only the Valentine prix fixe menu in place, no other option, but the food was amazing, if a little pricey. Our waiter made a wine recommendation of a new addition to their list that was also very good - a Pinot Nero from Friulli, but he misidentified it as a Montipulciano. ? I felt a little awkward in pointing this out to him. The experience was otherwise excellent for our party of 4, as usual. I definitely recommend Bellissimo.

I had made reservations on Feb 14. I had confirmation number and everything. I was denied service saying they don't have any reservations on file with them.
The restaurant charged incorrectly and did not proactively contact me after I call. Or give me a receipt as they promised, making it impossible for me to dispute. It is very irresponsible.

Food and atmosphere was very traditional Italian, the food was satisfying and the wine was good.The service was spirited but we did overhear a very unprofessional and long argument the staff was having during our dinner - since we were the only ones in the restaurant, we heard everything and felt very uncomfortable. They should straighten out their internal issues before I would consider returning!

We went for lunch. Very nice restaurant with tables very well set with white tablecloths and beautiful glass. The food was amazing with delicious sauces. We had fried squid, green lip mussels , penne puttanesca, a veal dish. Delicious and the prices were not bad for what we had. Highly recommended.

Our dinner was lovely. The ambiance was cozy. The service excellent. My husband had the rockfish and really enjoyed it. I had the seafood pasta fra diavalo . It was excellent, a bit spicer than I prefer but my husband thought it was fine. This restaurant is one of the few local places with quiet atmosphere and great food.
