Very confusing location, it is hidden and after walking around for 15 minutes because no one would answer the phone to give clear directions; i decided to give up. Very

Really good food, but the only way you know if they are open is if you call ahead to make sure. Went twice within the times they have listed on Google and they were closed.

I promise u there is better Caribbean food, there's just not many options. I ordered 2 sides that's all they gave me a whole dinner...the curry was watery, barely any gravy or flavor clearly not cooked from.the heart. Customer service is non existent...I'd travel to dc or to the 1 other Caribbean place in fairfax & they never open on-time. I will not be coming back, they more concerned with saying peas and rice than rice and peas than getting an order right. I'll never go back & to be there this long & still look under construction.

Ok so I told the ladies if the food was bad they would hear about it if it was good they would hear about it as well. I went on yesterday after my flight coming from work. I kind of was a bit scared by the inside of the place and the fact that no one was there on a busy Saturday night with all the other restaurant's booming. Now as for someone who is a cook myself and have been in the customer service and restaurant industry for years. Here is my honest review. The food was great even though it was piping hot meaning one thing is has been sitting there and had to be microwaved never the less the oxtail and the jerk chicken was amazing as well as the rice and peas. I wanted to order a patty but the patty holder had no lights and the patty looked like it has been sitting there for hours i was not going to take that chance. The customer service was off the wall ladies both was awesome and I give them a 5 out of 5. Now here comes the negative and this is all with love. Maybe its the location or something when I first walked in the place did not fit the atmosphere outside. The inside gave dark and lonely I would hope the owners if they see this would apply for a grant and do a grand opening again or something to show case our great Jamaican food. as I stated the food was awesome and I know there could be more foot traffic year round if they had a good person pushing for better marketing. I wish them best of luck and would def be back. And who knows next time I may bring one or a few of my United co workers.

Was craving Caribbean food and decided to give Caribbean corner a try! This is located in the downtown area of Fairfax, there's no seating indoors so this is definitely a grab and go place. The menu has some varieties of options to pick from! I ordered the Jerk pulled pork and curry chicken. I was really hoping to try to jerk chicken but it wasn't ready when I came so I opted for the pulled pork! Current chicken was very flavorful and had definitely the curry taste to it (not like Indian or Asian curry though). The jerk pulled pork surprisingly had a Smokey taste and the sauce was flavorful! The only con for me was that I found the rice that came with the dishes a little too over cooked for my taste. The veggies that was paired was great!

Hit or miss you never know what they are out of until you get there , if They are open or not , voicemail always full. They got me for a $6.00 side order of rice. But hey when you the only show in town you can do as you please open and close when you want regardless of what your hours say online. You cannot even make an order over the phone ??‍♂️??‍♂️ Unfortunately most West Indian restaurants have no good customer service and this is one of them. Food is good though but you risk them being open and having what you want ??‍♂️??‍♂️

I ordered the curry goat and it was very tasty and a lot of food. Not the easiest place to find.

Food is good, they have the best j*** pork in the dmv. but parking is the issue. Best to park across from restaurant.

Not open during advertised business hours on Saturday afternoon. I hope to come back some day and turn this review around as Google Maps recommended it. Best of luck.

Long time goer (7+ years). Have tried most of the menu but always came back for the j*** chicken. However, the quality of the j*** chicken isn’t as good as it used to be anymore. Not properly seasoned and excess in salt. Funny enough, the quality of the food used to taste amazing when the hours were very inconsistent but now with consistent hours and good service, it seems like the quality of the food has gone quite poor. I’m writing this while I’m eating my last j*** chicken I’ll be having from this place. Used to be the go to spot for jerk/ox tail food but I gave this place too many chances.

amazing food, worth the drive around the block to find it. don't let the appearance deter you from amazing oxtails.

Place was completely run down and empty with chairs upside down on tables, so I got takeout. Blandest and mushiest Jamaican food I've ever eaten, and I've eaten a lot of Jamaican food. . Mushy rice and beans, mushy vegetables, no flavor at all, the j*** chicken and curry chicken had zero heat and almost no flavor. No spices at all. Very disappointing. Very sad. Was so hoping to find a good Jamaican restaurant in Fairfax county area. One star for food, extra star only because folks seemed nice.,

Hole-in-the-wall takeout joint with Caribbean charm, friendly cashier/chef. Been coming here for about ten years and I've never once been disappointed, even though management has changed and they are currently undergoing renovations. Walk-in orders for specialty items may take up to 30 minutes to make, but it's also a very walkable area of town where you can easily kill some time. Simpler orders usually take five minutes at most, and there are chairs inside to wait on. About $20 fed my ravenous wife and I handily for lunch, and finding a table or bench to eat at was a fun adventure on its own.If you're new to the cuisine, you can't miss with the j*** chicken or a beef patty (pictured below). Neither are too spicy or expensive. Most dishes come with rice and beans on the side. The oxtail and curry goat, as well as the stewed options, are equally tasty, but be aware most dishes are served bone-in. I recommend you try everything at least once, and if they ask if you want your side dish to come with cabbage, say yes. It's good and you'll thank yourself if you paired it with something spicy. The plantains are good too, but sometimes they won't be available due to supply issues. They are also currently pursuing their beer and liquor license, so in a few months you may even be able to order a nice cold Red Stripe with your meal, but again, this is a takeout spot, so don't expect to eat or drink on the premises.Parking: Parking across the street is free and plentiful in the outdoor lot. Parking structure adjacent to this lot offers additional, paid parking.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility. Staircase leading down is steep. Probably just yell your order down or call ahead. Don't let a wheelchair stop you from trying this food.
