This place takes 15 minutes for five people to make one bubble tea. Now I see why it's 2 stars.

I took a visit here since a friend kept hyping it up. Over text, they spelled it as "onezo" so in my head I kept calling it oh-neh-zo. When we finally got there, I excitedly said "YAY OH NEH ZO!" and the person behind the cashier giggled :) One Zo!What I love about this place is the unique hand rolled boba that they offer. The flavors vary day by day, but the board when I went showed taro, honey, black sesame, brown sugar, honey, and Pokémon. The Pokémon boba balls intrigued me, and the baristas were so sweet to give me a sample! Slightly fruity with a side of tapioca ball chew to it. Sadly the taro balls were out that was supposed to go with taro milk tea - less ice, 35% sugar. Half of my party went with the black sesame and the other half went with brown sugar. The wait was a little longer than usual, but we did the buy 4 get 1 free deal and another person behind us ordered, so understandably so. When we tried it it was honestly some of the best boba I've tried in the area! The sides of the cup had real mashed taro too which was a nice touch. Super glad we got it at 35% sweetness because the brown sugar boba gave the drink all the sweetness it needed. If you're not too much of a sweet tooth, black sesame was more of a subtle sweetness and nutty. I didn't get grass jelly which was available, but i think next time, it would be a nice herbal touch to balance out the taro flavor. Definitely coming here again when in Fairfax! Hopefully the taro boba will be available too :)

One of the best places i've been too. Bubbles are chewy and delicious. My current favorite (Peach Green tea and Strawberry Lemonade) both taste refreshing and delicious. You can never go wrong with their (Brown Sugar Milk Tea) too. Friendly and helpful staff. They paitiently wait and give good drink recommendation. Tried many drinks, and i'm happy to say that the sugar levels are just right and are not overly sweet! I'll be definitely coming back as this is my go to place! If you want the most selection of boba, I recomend coming earlier during the day as they don't make anymore of the special boba's in the evening!

The girl was nice enough, no overly friendly but helpful which I appreciated. I ordered it half sweet from 50% from the matcha cheese foam which was good. But I’m not if she kept the 50%I can’t confirm it but I’ll come back again because it was good and I need to verify #matchacoldfoam

Fresh made boba in house everyday. Lily is awesome with the recs. She’s the best boba barista great at the perfect mix. She rec’d One Zo boba is all three boba flavors. Taro is the real taro paste not the purple powder which Lily mashed. Rec’d Less sugar 25% which really enhanced all the flavors without taking away the sweet factor. Had no problem accommodating no ice. “That’s yummy”. 10% Student discount with id. Inside 99 Ranch.

The barista I had was very kind and welcoming she enjoyed making the boba for us. She asked if I was a student, but we had already made the payment. She told us to come back as she'd give us a student discount. Which will definitely happen soon. She was very kind and asked how the drinks were! The Thai Milk tea had a really nice taste, and the honey boba paired well with it. I was able to taste some of the Matcha Latte cheese crema and it tasted wonderful.

Easily the best boba place I’ve ever tried. The handmade pearls hit different.

I got the oolong milk tea with brown sugar boba. For regular bubbles, they only offer brown sugar boba, which I didn't mind. I thought the bubbles were watery though, and a bit flavorless. They were also too soft for my liking. The tea was alright, but I couldn't taste as much oolong as I would have liked.

Best boba tea you could possibly have. The boba is the best part so put extra bobas in your tea. It can be expensive but it is worth it for this good stuff. How they make everything fresh is neat here.

My favorite place to get bubble tea. I got the lychee green tea and matcha brown sugar, both were so good. Onezo's boba's are the softest.

Previously I thought One Zo was only alright when I was back in California but I recently tried it again and was pleasantly surprised with their drink/boba!!! I got the Charcoal latte and it was *delicious*. It took me the entire drink to really put my finger on the flavor and why it was so unique. It tasted like your Southern sweet tea with barley tea undertones. Because of the activated charcoal, it had some graininess and a subtle "earthy" aftertaste. Overall I very much enjoyed the drink! Loved how the latte part wasn't too heavy on the milk and the adjusted sweetness was appropriate. I paired it with brown sugar boba which was perfectly cooked - chewy but not overly mushy. Compared to the honey boba, which was slightly sweeter, it did have a brown sugar taste but I felt like it could have been stronger?Their taro latte had strong authentic taro flavors and taro paste. We had actually wanted to try their mochi topping too but unfortunately it ran out. The staff didn't do the best job of communicating the availability of toppings and messed up our request for a topping change. My drink still turned out amazing so its ok! This location is inside the 99 ranch along with other food vendors. Lots of seating options. They also have a 10% student discount! I look forward to coming back to try out other drinks/boba flavors.

One Zo - you're super gross.I stopped by to get a Lemon Black Tea in the early afternoon, and I was glad to see that there was only 1 party ahead in line. Unfortunately, this party had no clue on what to order, and it seemed like this huge ordeal of locating their 3rd lost counterpart and having a discussion of what to get, studying the menu, whether toppings were wanted, studying the menu some more, and what size of drinks to order. Not really One Zo's fault, but this party could have, you know, stepped aside to get their hot mess together.Placing an order was fine, but just note that their rewards system is down so you'll have to write down your number on a piece of paper. This is where the issue was - they only had 2 employees, and the latter seemed to be new and in training; you can clearly tell that this individual had no idea what she was doing, in addition to not having any sense of urgency that that were customers waiting for their orders. And, look, you have to be patient for new staff - I get it. However, what almost made me barf was that this individual's long hair and her fingers were going into the cups, and there didn't seem to be any washing of the hands. She also disappeared into the back (whether that was the closet, the bathroom, or what), right in the middle of making drinks.I was so disgusted that I asked for a refund. Such a waste of time!+gross and unsanitary staff!

It's one of my go-to spots for boba in Fairfax! They have a selection of milk tea, fruity and blended smoothie options but their main specialty is their handmade boba.We got the Jasmine Milk Tea. I would have added honey boba since the drink does not come with toppings, but they ran out of them towards late afternoon. Although I did not add any other toppings they offered, the drink was still good and the sweetness level at 50% was not too sweet. The service was quick and their staff were attentive and friendly. We went when they offered a Happy Hour 15% discount around late afternoon, which was a good deal for an early dessert!
