I was impressed by the freshness of the Injera and the vegetarian platter. The wait staff was very polite but there were not enough servers. I would have preferred If food was more tasty. The alecha had only one sliver of a carrot with the rest of it was cabbage- Usually it has potato and carrot. The lentils/yellow peas didn’t seem to have Any spice at all. My friends enjoyed the beef Tibbs. Serving of injera was plentiful. The cappuccino was very nice and we enjoyed our time there.

We had an amazing experience at the Ethiopian restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious, and the waitress was exceptionally kind and helpful. The welcoming atmosphere added to our enjoyment of the meal. Visiting on a Sunday meant it wasn't busy at all, allowing us to savor our time there. We tried the Doro Wat dish, which was satisfying and flavorful, filling us up perfectly. Needless to say, we are looking forward to returning for another delightful dining experience soon!

Incredibly delicious Ethiopian food, our waitress was so kind and helpful. Loved the welcoming atmosphere. We came on a Sunday so it wasn’t busy at all, we ordered the Doro Wat and it definitely filled us up! We will be back!

First time trying Ethiopian food! I got the Meaza Tibs (their specialty cubed beef cooked with fat and onions) and their Vegetarian Combo (which came with spicy lentils, yellow chickpeas, collard greens, and cabbage) I must say the food was amazing! The slightly sour injera they served the food on top of paired perfectly with the rich meats and veggies. Will definitely have to try more Ethiopian spots! While the server was very nice, the service was a bit slow, especially. But all in all great food.

Warning ! We celebrated my mother's 74th. Despite making a reservation our table was not ready, service was slow and food came out warm. 3 of 9 guests got food poisoning the very next day!!! And we are seasoned Ethiopian's !

Overall great Ethiopian restaurant and good for first timers too. They have a huge space and also serve beer and wine. Their coffee is also great like most Ethiopian places, fresh roasted beans and brewed clean. My dad also loved the food last time we were here. Good outdoor seating and plenty of parking. I picked a to-go this time so missed going inside.

Great amazing food we had tibs and kitfo. The best in the DMV. Service is exceptional. Outside and inside seating. Only recommendation is to have cleaner bathrooms.

I used to love this place. And in fact, the food they do serve is quite good. The problem is that they charge you for what USED TO BE the Vegetarian Special Combo, and in lieu of the "salad", "potatoes", and "carrots" as listed on the menu, you get more soggy injera and a "cabbage salad" (which is really just inedible raw onion). They then just say they're out of potato and carrots. But really they never had any intention of giving that to you because the menu has changed and they don't serve that but still want you to pay the price for the "Special Vegetarian Combo" when it's missing 3 items.Note to owner: CHANGE YOUR MENU TO REFLECT WHAT YOU'RE SERVICE.Note to customers: In the meantime, save your money and go down the street to Dama. It's better and you will be served with what the menu states.

Such a wonderful atmosphere, quiet clean place to dine it, and it's very spacious. Our server, Melke is always friendly, smiles and speaks professionally and sweetly. She never fails to deliver excellent customer service and always makes you feel welcome! The food is always on point, especially their beef tibs, injera is always fresh ! Reasonable prices, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to eat good Ethiopian food !
