The LOOK: When you first walk into Balqees it has a very mom & pop vibe but they actually have a really nice back room and covered patio that is definitely a vibe and well decorated. The FOOD: Was sooo good and well flavored. My friend and I shared the Lamb Haneeth which came with a refreshing salad and the milk cakes were to die for and went well with the pot of black tea with mint we ordered. My wife and I came here for dinner and absolutely loved it. Excellent main courses, delicious tea and dessert, and the hookah kept its taste the entire time we were here (white peach, absolutely lovely). The outdoor area was comfortable and enjoyable to spend time in. Next time we are in the area we will absolutely be back.
We've been in this restaurant v4 times and the food has never ceased to anaze and scintillate our palate! Their Jordanian special dish of lamb with yogurt which is available only on Friday nights is simply delicious - the lamb was super tender and the yogurt sauce was perfect with the rice. A very large portion, good for three people.
