Always amazing BBQ, with amazing smoky flavor and HEARTY portions! Expect a line when you get there to order, but no worries because they're fast and efficient with great customer service. I'd love to see a brick and mortar for them someday, because it is a bummer when they close for the few winter months. Great food/value, and even greater people that make you feel like family. McCoy's never disappoints!! :)

It was soooo good! Hired them for my daughter's wedding and for less than "heavy orderves" they provided 3 meats and enough leftovers for a week. They cooked on-site. I go there as much as possible now.

You NEVER know when they will be open. You go out of your way, during their posted hours and find them closed. No sign, no note! Its disrespectful to customers. Oh well, I used to eat here often, but the quality has been steadily going downhill anyway. The last 2 times, the food was so overly smoked, you couldnt taste the meat, and the strong smoke taste stayed in your throat and stomach for hours afterwards...sad, they were the best, not anymore

We had the brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac & cheese, green beans. Every bite was great. I wish we had ordered more. the bbq sauce was amazing. We can't wait to go back!

Went to McCoys BBQ for the first time today after hearing so many people rave about it and it was delicious!! Large portions and very flavorful. I wasn’t sure what kind of sauce I wanted since it was my first visit and one of the guys gave me one of each, a sauce sampler if you will!!! Great staff, and lip smacking good food!! I can’t wait to try the ribs next time

The BEST BBQ in Fredericksburg! I wish they would open everyday! Rich, moist, tender bbq, always made fresh! It is a must go! If you haven't been there, you are missing out. Only open on the weekends, but if you see their smokers going, you know it's open! Very good portion sizes too!

Great tasty well-seasoned food that old Southern mamas and daddys would approve of. Plus, they've got super awesome and friendly customer service. If you get there too late and they've sold out, still try something! Corn is spicy and delish! Beans are sweet and scrumptious. Green beans are seasoned and savory. Love the turkey wings!! The owner is not mad at the world -- he's got a way of looking at you and lighting up his face and throwing out a greeting like you're an old friend! Wish they had a McCoys spot in Charlottesville!! They fix you up!

So I visited McCoy's Smoked Bbq today. I must say I'm very disappointed - but only because I had no idea this place existed. I had a rib plate and couldn't leave the parking lot without adding another half rack and banana pudding. As a U.S. Army Soldier, I've had ribs all over. To date, the best I had was Chuck's Barbecue in Valley, Alabama. Well they are now #2 because McCoy's Smoked Bbq is indeed the REAL DEAL! I'll be back soon!!Edit: My Princess got a taste and all she kept saying was "Daddy, it's really good. Can I please have some more?" ???
