Orifino's gnocchi and pasta are amazing. Their gelato and lemon soda are fresh and tasty too. The restaurant has a great ambiance, perfect for a casual dinner or a special occasion. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Don't miss out on their gelato, it's the perfect end to a delicious meal.Kid-friendliness: Pasta, chocolate milk, mozzarella sticks, and fries

Delicious lunch / early dinner from their rotating regional menu. I had the rockfish which was perfect for lunch. Luca, our server, was terrific and offered a few suggestions including the calamari. Calamari was very lightly breaded (how we prefer it) such that you could enjoy the taste of the meat. Oh and don't forget to order the tiramisu, not too sweet, just right. Definitely going back when we're in downtown Fredericksburg.

Wonderful service! Trio bruschetta appetizer was amazing, great flavors and would order again! Orofino's Montepulciano was smooth, with a light peppery finish and went well with the pasta dishes everyone ordered at the table. The Special with stuffed tortellini was very good. The eggplant was amazing! We shared the tiramisu, which was enough for three of us to enjoy without being overfilled!!! On the menu, it shows the areas of Italy and the dishes popular in each area as identified on the menu by number, what a great idea and very informative! Danilo was extremely knowledgeable and an amazing and welcoming host. Tristan our amazing server, who was quite honest with his description of menu items as well as his recommendations. A very enjoyable evening! Will definitely return!!! The prices were amazing! The food was top-notch!!!

My friend and I were recommended to try it by a friend who didn't inform is it was a slightly classier establishment. We showed up looking like bums and expecting roadside chow, so admittedly we didn't stay. I couldn't identify quite a few words on that menu, I'm a simple man. I'm sure it was delicious, as the bread and water certainly was.Despite having no reservations and being quite casual in dress, we were kindly seated and given the specials. Then once we left, our kind server chased us down the street to give us back a bag we left behind. Lovely staff, lovely place, will surely come back one day with a better idea of what to expect!

The food is the star of the show here because the service is extremely underwhelming. The kitchen staff truly make this place worth a visit. After being in the service industry for ages I couldn't believe how many employees including their manager walked by our table with dirty dishes piled up. Blatantly staring at them as they walked by thinking and knowing they should clear the table but continuing to walking. Additionally the smell of their fabuloso cleaning solution is so strong from the moment you walk in it you can taste it. Would order out but would definitely skip the dine in experience.

Cleaning supplies smell so strong that it could give you a headache. Service was underwhelming. Piled up dirty dishes on tables with multiple servers & manager looking at them and continuing to walk by. The kitchen is the only thing holding this establishment afloat.

A wonderful Italian restaurant. Very quaint atmosphere. The food was delicious. Service was excellent. Portions were bigger than we expected, but that was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend.

Orofino Restaurant is our favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg. The food and service are excellent. The atmosphere is comfortable. They have not unreasonably inflated their food prices as have many restaurants in the area.

I liked their emphasis on the different regions of Italy and the menu speaks to which region inspired each of the dishes. The service was very good and they were able to accommodate our group of four as walk-ins even though they were busy that night. The selection of wines by the glass was limited but I was happy with the Sangiovese.

Wait staff was 5 stars. Then things went kinda went downhill. Appetizers were good. The main entrees were severely lacking. I ordered a pizza. It was so thin and within one minute of it reaching our table it was soggy. There was absolutely nothing about the ingredients or crust that dictated the price. My friend order a pasta dish. Omg we kinda sat there stone faced. It was just a plate of regular pasta without even garlic bread or anything with it. While the food was some what is tasty, it is NOT 5 star. something we joked about after, why did every person that came to our table looked like they had flour wrinkled cloths like they ran from the kitchen to our table to serve us? personally this restaurant came across as a gimimic. High price for low quality
