I’m sorry, this isn’t Greek food. Go to Chicago’s Greek town. If your Greek restaurant serves spaghetti and pizza, it’s probably not authentic Greek.

What a gem! We found this adorable mom and pop restaurant using Google. Pop made our meals while mom chatted with us. This place is family owned and been in the same location for 40 years! Food was delicious - best calzone we've ever had! Everything was fresh and homemade. This will definitely a regular stop for us as we go through Fredericksburg. A wonderful experience!

Got the Gyros Platter which you would assume at a Greek restaurant would be the best item on the menu but meat felt like it was frozen and microwaved... Tzatziki was good enough to bring it to a 2 star rating instead of 1.

A Fredericksburg staple with the perfect family atmosphere. Love that it’s still owned and run by the original sweet family.

If you are in Fredericksburg, Virginia, looking for Greek/Italian food and you find yourself in the Parthenon restaurant the first thing you should do is get up and leave Last night my wife and I were anxious for Greek food and made the mistake of going to the Parthenon restaurant We ordered a Greek salad to share and a pork Slovakia dinner to share in both cases the olives peppers were on strike because they weren't there We paid excessive amount for a dish of iceberg lettuce In the case of the pork souvlaki, there were six 1/2 inch cubes of meat and more iceberg lettuce We travel the US and we travel the world and we know a good restaurant when we see one and we know a horrible restaurant where we see one and the Parthenon was horrible Don't waste your time don't waste your money a couple blocks away to Carrabba's and get a good time meal for reasonable price We swore to each other that it would be the last time we pay $60 for two dishes of iceberg lettuce Disappointed in Fredericksburg at Parthenon George and Phyllis C

The food is excellent. I worked there almost 50 years ago and the food only got better under the Psaras family. Good food, good service, good times. Money well spent.

Found this family restaurant close by the hotel I was staying in. I was going to order to go, but was welcomed to sit down, and enjoy my beer while waiting.I orderd the 3 topping 16 inch pizza, which included, Italian sausage, pepperoni, and extra cheese. I also ordered two gyro's.The pizza was fresh, the crust was crispy, and the meat was real Italian sausage, delicious! The gyro's were delicious also! The customer service was top notch! I really enjoyed the experience!

Family owned and run for over 30 years. This is a Fredericksburg staple and a hidden gem. It’s simple good Greek food in a small location that has served up home cooked Greek comfort food for generations. I’ve been going here since the late 80’s and am always greeted with familiarity and smiles. Honest food from honest people is the way it always feels. I love this restaurant!

This place has the best pizza and subs around. It’s been here for a long time and has a huge following. The prices are affordable and they serve a high quality meal for the price. I recommend Parthenon to everyone.

Recently, I visited the Parthenon, and it was disappointing, specifically because I realized the food's lackluster quality and taste was a result from microwaved food and prepackaged goods from the supermarket. This fact would come to my attention as I left the restaurant and noticed the "chef" taking out a plate of food about to be served to a customer directly from the microwave; I was disgusted.I left the restaurant hungry and extremely disappointed in the low standards that this restaurant had set itself.Don't go here, go warm up a meal in the microwave at home instead--this is not worth spending your money.

Wonderful!!! We stopped in after a long day on the road and the staff was very friendly and accommodating to us and our kids. Eggplant Parmesan was fantastic - great marinara sauce and the perfect portion. We will definitely try to come back next time we are passing through the area.

This is the best, "most authentic" pizza in Fredericksburg period, our favorite crust anywhere! The nicest couple and their daughter. We mostly get take out pizza because it works best for us, but eating there is wonderfully nostalgic.

I went here for dinner with 3 work colleagues relying on the 4.3 rating. What we experienced was not worthy of a 4.3 rating. We ordered the fried cheese and it was phenomenal. The steak sub had what appeared to be a single slice of "Steak Um", a bunch of cheese, a little lettuce and 2 slices of tomato. The chicken sandwich had very little flavor - the report was that at least the baklava had more flavor that the sandwich. The pita with pork was ok... When we walked in there was a wonderful smell of garlic, but apparently that was coming from the barbershop next door, or they walked the chicken past the garlic cloves. That was the food... The service, well...let's just say, the food was better than the service. Don't get me wrong...they were sweet people for sure. I would seriously not try this place again...unfortunately. I love mom and pop places.
