The Confident Rabbit is out of business. The space is now called Rebellion??

It will not be missed! Food was average, menue was small, service was snooty, value was not great. Even the lovely space and the very good wine list could not overcome these obstacles!

Wine list is a bit lacking, it took us 1.5 hours to get our food, when it did get there my wife’s fish was so salty she couldn’t eat it and I got the wrong dish. Great fried green tomatoes though! And the manager only charged us for the oysters when we left.

We stopped in for a quick drink. The staff is super friendly and this place looks amazing. Such an upgrade from the former establishment. The oysters were fresh and excellently prepared. I wish we had more time to stay here for a meal. Next time I'm in town I would definitely have to have dinner here.

The food was delicious and the service was great. We were celebrating two birthdays days and when they heard that they gave us complementary Champagne

We went to The Confident Rabbit to try something different. We were not disappointed, I had the pasta of the day which was a Castilian (or something close to that) in a crab white sauce. My wife had the Black Bass with Mushroom Risotto and it was out of this world. Overall a very good dining experience. If you are in FXBG try The Confident Rabbit.

Went for dinner and ordered French onion soup for starter and entrees for the table were the fish of the day, which was black bass, scallops and marget duck. The best of the 3 was the fish of the day hands down. The scallops were slightly bitter and the duck was fatty and plain. The French onion soup was mediocre. Too many other places to try to return.

Had a wonderful birthday experience! Staff was amazing! Food was packed full of flavor. Ordered a medium brine oysters on the half shell. They carry about 4 different types. In-house sauces were delicious. Especially the cocktail sauce, it's made from their house ketchup. My Hubby got steak and I got fish for the entree. The fish had the most amazing seasoning and beautiful crust on the skin. Served with corn chowder and zucchini. It was hands down the best fish experience I've ever had. My Hubs steak was medium rare. Cut beautifully and so tender. Mashed potatoes were delicious. Atmosphere wasn't stuffy. Stylish decor. No dress code. Just an all around wonderful experience! Price was on point for a French restaurant.

A fabulous little restaurant in downtown Fredericksburg. Delightful unpretentious French cuisine. The service was outstanding. It's a must try and we will be back!

Small local restaurant with small but well executed menu. Wine list is small and while visiting had run out of most white wines. Food was good and priced well for what you get.

I've eaten there on Christmas Eve (as a part of a 20+ party) and on a summer Saturday with a friend. Both times everything was perfect. The staff were friendly, patient, and informative. The food was exquisite. I've been mightily impressed.

My first time eating at Confident Rabbit was a wonderful experience. I loved everything from the drink to the fried oysters and the pasta of the day was just amazing. I will definitely be back for sure!

The food and service were great. Our server was attentive but didn't hover. The noise level was pretty good (started out quiet at 615 when we sat down but was getting a bit loud when we left at 815). The pace of dinner was very good (I never felt rushed and there weren't any long waits for food to come out).
