Aunt Sarah's Pancake House

Very old decor.The eggs were ok but the ham was salty and overcooked.Did not eat nor was I asked about it. I hate saying bad things bout a place during the pandemic. Maybe it was the choice of meal. Will try again.Hat

I love the atmosphere of this long-standing Richmond icon. The food is great too. Occasionally they seem a bit understaffed, but usually the service is great and the staff friendly.

I've been eating Aunt Sarah's since I was about 5. Sad to see them downsize to only this location but the food still taste great. Hopefully this stays open for years and years to come.

Great food as always, have been going to Aunt Sarah's since I was a kid. A little worrisome that the staff aren't being rigid about enforcing mask policies as per state guidelines especially during a spike of cases but that's their prerogative I suppose. Friendly staff and very attentive. The restaurant is much cleaner than the Broad Street location was at times. If the enforcement of mask policy was better I'd be more comfortable coming back; most places are letting you keep your mask off at the table but need you to wear it whenever you get up. Waitresses weren't wearing them above their noses like needed to effectively prevent the spread. The booths are socially distanced enough that I didn't feel the need to get up and leave though.

Waited several minutes to be seated. I had to call to get noticed. Then the hostess/waitress argued about the time we waited to be seated. She literally said, you haven't been waiting that long. What the heck is wrong with people today? We walked out. In this day and age when restaurants are screaming for patrons why make such a snide remark? Enjoy your 0 tip and 0 money made for Aunt Sarah's. We are off to Cracker Barrel where the service is ALWAYS good!

Really enjoyed my breakfast here. The staff is extremely friendly and thoughtful. The food is simply awesome and the prices are good. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Great food and service. Rachel goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your meal. I ordered the French toast platter. It's delicious. Prices aren't bad either. I'll be back for good food which puts me in a good mood!

Service a lil slower because only 1 waitress but food was excellent as always!

Definitely recommend! The food was delicious, the coffee was perfect (and they kept your cup full), and the workers were very friendly and accommodating.
