My grandmother takes my children and I here when we visit some days. Everything is home made. Bread is amazing. Staff is friendly, patient and very kind. If you're near the Phoebus area of Hampton check them out! Salads are HUGE and delicious! Pizza is huge and flavorful and you HAVE to get the garlic knots.Kid-friendliness: They love children there. My children are 4 and 5 so if they are older I'd say yes!

Had a fantastic first visit to Mama Rosa's! The warm atmosphere made for a memorable family gathering. Michael, our server, was really nice and provided exceptional service with great recommendations.Generous portion sizes ensured a satisfying meal, and the Mansocoti pasta and pizza were flavor-packed highlights. The unique twist on Garlic Knots made them the best I've ever had.The overall vibe struck a perfect balance between cozy and vibrant. Wonderful service, delightful food, and unique treats like the Garlic Knots make Mama Rosa's a must-visit. Highly recommend for a great Italian dining experience in Hampton. Can't wait to return for more!

Mozzarella sticks were saturated with oil that literally was dripping off them. Ended up tossing them because of how greasy they actually were.

I'm looking for a decent Italian Pizzeria. After searching through Google, this seemed to be the only place worth trying out. I ordered 1 small Margherita pizza for take out. Honestly, after eating 1 slice, I couldn't stop. It was pretty good and the ingredients tasted fresh in my opinion. I look forward to coming again for more pizza.

Amanda our server was delightful. Fast and efficient, thanks! Clean comfortable restaurant. We ordered off the lunch special menu, Fried chicken sandwich was hot and crispy on a fresh bun, Very good. Fries were hot and crispy, very good. Godfather sub was also very good, kind of sloppy joe ground beef with peppers and onions and Italian seasoning on a fresh sub roll. House salad was very crisp and cold, cheese salami and olives a nice touch.Only reason I can't give 5 stars is the calamari appetizer. Order was hot and quick. Small serving size and really not crispy...tasty breading and the squid was fresh enough. A larger portion might make it seem a better value. My recommendation is skip the calamari, plenty of other appetizers to choose from. But all in all a good value lunch minus the calamari.

One of, if not THEE best Italian eateries in Hampton! The owners have tons of history in the area and are always meeting the guests to ensure the food and service are top notch, and they always are! The problem with Mamma Rosa's is that EVERYTHING is so wonderful that I order way too much! The dishes are made with care and the tastes are out of this world! The restaurant has a family feel to it and the service is always attentive and accommodating. If you have never been here, you NEED to go!

We had our family group there s and we ordered all kinds of food, from subs to pizza to hot dishes. All of the food was delicious. I had the small meatball sub and could only eat 3 meatballs, they were so dense and full of flavor! We'll be back for another dinner real soon.

Dissatisfied and disappointed with both the service and the food! Ordered a large pepperoni pizza for pickup. When I arrived there was no wait and the pizza was already ready. Although there were multiple staff members upfront, I wasn’t really greeted. I was given my order and I left. I didn’t have far to go, and quickly realized that my pizza was cold and it was not a 1 topping pepperoni pizza. Also, who knows how long it had been sitting there, which probably led to it being cold. I called the store and the staff member acknowledged that they gave me the wrong pizza and told me to bring it back. I let her know I was unable to come back right then and she was like well there is nothing I can do about it. No offer to make it right, no offer of a discount later, didn’t sound apologetic, nothing but putting the burden to correct their mistake on me. Eventually, after going around and around, she was like they would send someone to get the pizza later, but it would be awhile. Terrible. Definitely will not return. Good customer service is definitely not a priority.
