It had been awhile since I ate at Green Turtle, being a home grown Marylander, I was excited to see one in VA. This location seemed a little understaffed, my wife and I waited 20 min when half the tables were empty. We waited about 20 min for our food and our appetizer was forgotten. Server made up for it though.Quality of food was ok. Could have better.

The best way I can describe my experience would only be limited to the reception me and my party received at the door. The hostess had a handwritten sign posted stating that there is a 30 minute wait. So I asked her was that 30 minute wait still in effect. She told me that they had a bus load of people in the restaurant and we would have to wait. She offered to seat us at the bar, but we declined. We left because her body language indicated that she could care less if we did leave. She was seated and her with back partially turned toward us. I lived in Maryland for 25 years so I am familiar with the quality of service at The Greene Turtle generally offers. However, this was my first time at this location and unfortunately will be my last.

Never ordered food outrageous prices.Went to have a cple beers with a friend who recommended this place.We thought we had 5 beers each but were charged for 6. Either war 66.00 for 12 beers between us. THATS INSANE !!!!!!!! I lived in florida for 32 years never had a bar tab that high with no food even in south beach. Was told by bartender and supposed mgr we don't set the prices.Bartender was slow service was horrible mgr was non caring.o well we don't set the prices.No wonder I had been there before and today place was empty.RUN !!!!! Unless your ready to be molested with there pricing!!!!Tried calling corporate phone wrang and wrang nobody answered .Stay away places in sad shape with those prices.
I had such an amazing time at this restaurant. The staff was wonderful and super nice, and my server Cathryn was a delight. She was the most helpful server I've ever had. If you go to this establishment you should ask for Cathryn to be your server.

I waited for a while to be seated, and then after five minutes of waiting on a waiter/waitress to acknowledge me. I got up so I could get me something to drink. The General Manager comes to my table, and places my order for me. She didn’t bring my food back, my waitress who never apologize and acknowledge me did. I sent back six bland garlic parmesan wings, but was not informed I would be paying for them to be replaced. Until I noticed the extra wings charge on my bill (see below), so away goes my waitress and another waiter appears to fix my check. Below is the tip from me to my waitress, to hopefully improve on her future experiences with customers. I am so discussed, that I don’t even want my boxed left over wings.

NOTHING WAS GOOD. Not the food not the service , nothing . Everything was dry , cold, and distasteful looking. I almost never write a review . I literally went in there with a happy attitude and walked out ready to hurt somebody. The waitress was absolute trash. She didn’t check on us, she didn’t reassure us when 40 minutes went passed since seeing her and when we asked for our checks she handed it to us and walked off. Handed us the dry food and walked off. Instead of apologizing for not being attentive, she said “I was waiting on drinks at the bar” when we asked for the manager , she danced past us to the music while we sat looking upset about our experience . Don’t Eat here if you work hard for your earnings. This place used to be good . But it has plummeted. Just walk past and you will see empty seats these days and this is why. Very upset I was unable to eat with my party. Again. Be careful who you service wrong. You really don’t know who knows who.
