I recently visited the Oaks for lunch after not going there for many years! So nostalgic to back in there! The service was excellent, the food was on point- shrimp, burgers & fries were cooked to perfection! Looking forward to going back to enjoy some more of their menu items♥️ great job yall it’s still rockin!!!

I have been coming to the Oaks for a year and a half. I had never been asked to "hold my ID". We came out to celebrate at 10pm on a Friday night and the vibe was ruined. The female bartender with the black hair asked to hold my ID when i ordered a 5 dollar drink. Basically accusing me of possibly walking out without paying because other patrons that "looked like me" had walked out on their tab previously. None of this had anything to do with me, especially when we are regualars in this establishment. She was a newer bartender, she stated she just started working there. I went with male friends and this same bartender did not ask to hold their Id's, just the females. She was rude and I believe that this is a serious case of profiling. No reason for her behavior, it was demeaning and disrespectful. Do better.

Two trips in one. First and the last. Ordered crab soup and sampler platter. Crab soup was corn chowder with a small scoop of crabmeat on top. It was served cold or lukewarm in spots. None of the food was hot. Every bill gets 18% gratuities added on plus an additional 5% for using a cc. Paid with cash. Waitress brought a variety of change in hopes of an additional tip after 18%?!?!Wheelchair accessibility: Women’s bathroom could not accommodate a wheelchair once inside.

I love the atmosphere, but breakfast came up short. 2 eggs, 2 pieces of skinny slim bacon that you can see through, about 10 small pieces of hasbrowns, and a burnt piece of toast with no butter two short vodka and orange juice, 32.00? You guys gotta do better with the portions and quality. Yes I left a tip.. I'm still going to come back but skipping the breakfast.. I knew I should have taking a picture..

This was one of the worse food I have ever eaten. Ordered a pretzal, cheesecake and skillet chocolate chip cookie. The pretzal was soaking wet and rock hard. Didn't even look like they tried to make something edible. The skillet chocolate chip cookie was no different. The cookie was a blob with chocolate chips melted into it and a pool of melted ice cream with it. then the cheesecake is clearly a frozen desert they just bring it, but they screwed that up somehow by giving us the wrong cheesecake. We ordered a strawberry, but received a chocolate. I ordered some garbage food before, but this was awful.

If you’re looking for a good place to shoot some games of pool and eat an appetizer and drink a beer or maybe you’re just wanting to sit down and watch Monday night football and eat a burger then definitely come to the oaks! The owner (Jack) even does free pool during certain hours/days! Great decorations and amazing people. The bartender makes perfect drinks and every beverage comes in a frosted glass! Definitely consider the oaks because you’ll never find anything like it!
