Being from the Philly area, there is nothing closer to getting a south Philly cheese steak than Urgies. Made me miss home but definitely will be back

Food is always solid whatever I try, however, every time I have been in there the same bartender is working. I think his name starts with an “L”? I have seen him walk around with a toothpick in his mouth that he touches repeatedly and then would make drinks and touch fruit without washing his hands. This time he lost the toothpick, but his service was seemingly worse. I have watched him ignore people trying to get his attention and he always has an attitude. I have been there before and gotten good service from other bartenders, but if I go back again and get him I will likely not return/leave.

Impressive cheesesteak, great balance of meat and whiz and perfect bread—not too hard and chewy, but substantial enough to hold up to the messy filling.
Would definitely recommend as a great place to get an authentic Philly cheesesteak

This place sucks! Authentic Philly cheesesteaks? I don't think so. Philly cheesesteaks are dry meat on hard bread. The fries were not the fries in their picture. The menu shows shoestring fries tossed in olive oil as their "signature fries" but ours were more like steak fries and they were cold and soggy and we literally had 10 fries on our tray for $5.50. My wife got the onion rings as an upcharge and got 4 onion rings. The atmosphere was college bar and it showed. I can get a much better cheesesteak at Jersey Mike's. We waited 36 minutes for our food but on the plus side my wife ordered an 8 inch and got a 12.
