The Greek dishes are very good, as are the Italian dishes. The bread is to die for, fresh, soft, flavorful. Tiropita is flaky and delicious. We've been eating at Nick's for many years, mostly take out. Staff are friendly. When my parents were with us and came to visit from Atlanta, they always wanted to dine at Nick's and was my dad's favorite place for Greek and Italian. Love the seasonal decorations!
Really good marinara sauce and rolls. Good service with attentive wait staff. Meatballs in the sub were bland. Veal parmigiana wasn't terrible just a little chewy. This place seems to attract an older crowd. I may revisit to try a different menu item.

Alot of people enjoy Nick's. As for myself I don't like the food or it's taste and I've giving Nick's several toys as I have friends that like it. Everything I've tried I didn't like the taste of, sorry. It's blah bland old tasting food to me..there is always more to a reasturant then a swift greeting and being seated
The food was amazing and the prices were fair. They were packed and most of the staff were really friendly. The owner was a nice guy and looked out for the guests and staff.
Called to ask a question about the menu. The lady proceeded to yell at me over the phone and kept interrupting me. I was unable to fully ask my question. Such a childish way to go about an interaction. I’ll just tell myself that she was just having a bad day and took it out on me. Oh well.

This restaurant goes over the top in holiday decorations. Seasonal things everywhere you look, including a live Santa. Food was average, except for the dinner rolls which were super--large and hot out of the oven.

We held my mom's 82nd birthday for 13 people here on a Sunday. The place was packed with at least 2 other celebrations and regular diners. And yet the serviceo was impeccable! The previous evening, we had been at a much "higher end" restaurant for 2, and the service was nowhere near as good. Good food, great service.
This is a quirky, sort of musty place where the food is average at best and the wait staff certainly needs a lesson in basic table service manners. When we asked to just take the bread home (and not our leftovers) Andrea said " sure, we're just going to throw it away. " Then she added it to our bill. :[I wouldn't recommend this place.

We went here for dinner when a nearby restaurant had a 30 minute wait on a Thursday. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. I used to come here regularly 15+ years ago with my dance group. The rolls are still the best in RVA. I had moussaka and my Dad had manicotti with the meat sauce. Both were very good. What I especially liked about the moussaka was it wasn't oversalted. We'll be back, sooner this time.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options such as Eggplant Parmigiana and Linguine Greek Style with basil, olive oil, pine nuts & cheeses. Also spanakopita and tiropita.Parking: In a strip mall with plenty of parking.
