I've never left a review for any place on yelp but I had to for this! Best philly cheese steak in the city!!!!! Fries were really good as well with the seasoning on them! Paid $8.41 for the combo which is a really good price when i'm used to paying at least $10 for a philly cheese steak combo. Must try, won't be disappointed!
I stopped by Phat Phillys due to the info I picked up on my phone during a lunch break while I was Ian training in the Henrico area. At first glance the place is a gas station/ c-store, but that's no turn off to me because I used to manage a place like that many years ago. Anyway, it was lunch time but no one I saw was getting food. I started to turn around, but went in anyway. The guy at the grill was polite and courteous and made my sandwich quickly. Just a little gas station side project, but the philly sub was tasty! The price was on par with other stores, and the sub was on par for what you would expect for the price! I did find that the rest of the store wasn’t the best. It’s really best to get your food there and eat somewhere else.
