Have been wanting to go to Wong’s Taco’s in Short Pump, VA (West Metro Richmond) for a while now and got the chance. It has a very fun fusion of Chinese and Mexican food. Their Crispy Brussel Sprouts were great. I also had a Wong John Silver (Mahi Mahi) taco, and a Braised Korean Briaket taco. Both were excellent. They also brought out a bowl of complimentary bowl of seasoned and salted chips. It was definitely worth a stop, and enjoyed everything.

I am so happy Wong’s Tacos is in my neck of the woods. This food is so flavorful and truly delicious. The tacos are generously filled. I never thought I would be a fan of fusion until I ate here!

Great restaurant with fun dishes. The atmosphere is bright and colorful and the location is convenient. They had their music up a bit too loud for comfort but otherwise I enjoyed being there. The hostess was a bit abrupt but nice and my server was fantastic and made great recommendations for me.I ordered the Kung Bao Chicken appetizer and the Braised Korean Beef Taco as well as the Char Sui Pork Belly taco. All of them were really good but the pork belly was exceptional. Soft but crunchy and full of flavor, the pickled onion and the sauces really enhanced it without overwhelming it, I could have eaten three of them. The Kung Bao Chickrn was great and you get two in the order which is a great value. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavors that accompanied it were a really good balance. My only complaint was that the chicken to bun ratio is off so I had 1/3 of the bun left with no chicken. I think chopping the chicken or just slightly upsizing it would help, or adding a few things that would be good to eat on the bun without chicken. The Braised Korean beef was good but I probably wouldn't order it again. It was a bit chewy and difficult to eat and bland, in general it just didn't stand out. I wasn't unhappy with it but I could have taken or left it.Vegetarian options: They had several vegetarian options, including vegetarian tacosDietary restrictions: You can get your tacos in tortillas or lettuce wrapsParking: Loads of parking nearby

Really enjoyed the food there. Requested a cocktail from the menu to be adjusted to a mocktail(non alcoholic) and it was very good. All the items ordered had a nice twist to maintain flavour in every bite.Would happily go back again to try out their other items on the menu.Parking: There isn't much dedicated parking. I ended parking opposite in another store's parking.

I was headed to a different restaurant for lunch on the road and as soon as I saw the Wong's Tacos sign I knew immediately this was where I was meant to stop. My best advice is to get extra napkins and plan on taking your time to savor these delicious tacos. I ordered the crispy brussels taco, kung pao taco, and Korean brisket taco. The flavors were amazing and while I would eat an entire meal of each one on their own, I feel like the Korean brisket was best suited for the taco format. My tacos to go took about 5 minutes, the atmosphere of the restaurant was laid back and appealing, and the music they had was totally my jam. This place was well worth the stop and will be a repeat for me next time I'm in the area. I would give more stars if I could!

1/2: we returned to try the new menu. Our party ordered a range of tacos (Kung Pao Chicken, Mahi mahi Tempura, blanco, tuna poke), Kung Pao chicken salad, the egg rolls, plantains, and chips and side of queso. All of it was full of flavor and the new items (Kung Pao and fish tempura) were pleasant surprises. The chips were also crispier than I've experienced which was a welcome change as well. The service and ambiance were great as always. Others in my party that had previously given up on Wong's were won over by the new items. The only area missing in the new menu is some type of steak taco. Overall, happy with the new menu, will tell our friends, and plan to come back soon.
