The food is fine but the owner is grouchy. Throws a serious fit if you want extra sauce which is not free. The small serving that comes with your food is simply not enough! The place is clean but the price is higher than other similar places in the area.
I used to go to the Crisp and Juicy in Arlington. Used to be my favorite Peruvian chicken place. New job so i do not go that way anymore. I found a Crisp and Juicy in Herndon. Never noticed them being there. Decided to give the a try. The food was delicious as I remembered. This time i tried Carnita (steak argentine style) sandwich with fried plantains and black beans. The chicken here is just OK. Not a lot to rave about either. I ordered the quarter chicken platter with dark meat. It comes with two sides and I decided on potato salad and rice & beans. The sides were generally lacking flavor. The chicken was tender and it was probably the highlight of the meal. The cashier was very friendly and food came out within a few minutes. I may visit again, but I've had better Peruvian chicken elsewhere.
