We had a group of 14 people for a birthday celebration and it could not have been better. All of our guests raved about the food, in particular the beef strogonoff, the filet mignon (best ever), the dumplings, meatballs, duck, quail, and pistachio cheesecake were excellent. The service was impeccable and of course the ambiance was gorgeous. One of our guests mentioned it was the best event he ever attended, which was high praise as he is a connoisseur of fine dining. After living in the northern Virginia area for almost a decade, it was amazing to find another hidden gem for quality fine dining food.The stroganoff was the hit, but the scallops were a close second. Definitely recommended for a romantic night out.

The Russia House is a delightful Restaurant, upscale and classy with a lovely ambiance. So enjoyed being able to converse in a normal tone of voice. Service was excellent... my boyfriend sampled a Manhattan with Pepper Vodka, he gave it a thumbs up, followed by wild Salmon in Champagne sauce with caviar...simply delicious. I had the duck, which was the best I've had in a long time. Highly recommend the restaurant.
