That's the best place to get a mocha!

What a unique spot! Great coffee and matcha... I ordered an Americano with hazelnut syrup, while my husband ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup. Both were delicious! The Americano wasn't over-roasted or bitter. Prices were very impressive too. I also ordered a bag of the Love Blend to take home. Service was good. There were two women working the busy shop. Ambience was straightforward. No inside seating, but plenty outdoors. Wish they had some grab-and-go foods, especially since there aren't many coffee shops out here. But nonetheless, I highly recommend!

Found this gem while on a girls weekend in Nellysford, down from RVA. An absolute must if you're in the area. It's kind of hidden in the back of the community center. There's a HUGE space/playground right in front of it--truly a paradise for parents I'd been craving a cafe con leche and imagine my surprise when this tiny coffee shop gave me one of the best ones I've ever had! It was even on their menu? Lol. I was blown away by the quality. Also really cool to see the beans roasted right in front of you.

Such a great spot. The location in a community center is unique and I like it! The roasting could not be more local or fresh given it’s about 10 feet from the register. The coffee was fantastic (I had the Mexican roast) and the workers super helpful. The roaster even took a break from roasting so he could help me out while the barista was away for a minute. They do not have seating inside right there where the bar is, but right next door is the community center lounge and it was perfect. Quiet and simple. I will definitely be returning!Oh and the locally sourced short bread is spot on too!

We live in Afton and Trager Brothers is our only coffee. We grind or own whole bean Sumatra and Guatemalan. Best coffee on the planet.

Knowledgeable staff, wonderful experience, the pour-over brewing of the freshly ground organic Sumatran made delicious coffee!

Got an iced mocha, it wasn't busy so we were served very quickly! The mocha was SUPER good!It was close to closing time but the coffee still tasted very fresh! There's no place inside to sit an drink coffee, however, there is a park close by and a few benches so if it's nice weather it'd be great for a coffee date.

Hands down the best coffee roaster in Central VA. TBC hits all the marks - ethically sourced, expertly roasted, multiple single origin & blend offerings, all at a solid fair price. We’ve been purchasing their coffee on location or in shops around town for over 2 years now.Great hang if you can make it to their roastery. Baristas are legit and kind, lovely spot to drink coffee and contemplate the mountains.

Being one of the only coffee shops in the area we will continue stopping by when we are around, but their espresso is burnt, the milk is scalding hot and the entire cappuccino just tastes burnt. The gingerbread latte tasted like straight ginger.

Great coffee at a fair price! Better than the place that rhymes with No Bucks. They helped my grandson adjust his coffee to his very own version of perfection. Knowledgeable staff that was very helpful with descriptions of what they were serving and it's origins... plus some of the proceeds help the community!A win, win, win in my book! Definitely worth a return trip. The whole idea of what they've done with the former Rockfish School is remarkable given the small size of the community.

A local gem and must “taste” for all passing through. Delicious quality coffee, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. Plus a playground, some kind of skate park, and large grassy area for the kids. Perfect!
