Ordered an additional phila since there was only one in the fridge. Here’s what I got - no cream cheese, no salmon. Don’t count on my tips anymore.

So I actually have liked this place alot in the past, but today we FOUND A BUG IN OUR FOOD!!! I don't know what the sanitary practices are here, but buyer beware. This wasn't a tiny bug either!!! (See image). We brought it up to them and the graciously offered a refund, and we ended up going across the way to another restaurant.

Delicious authentic Chinese food! Really hope they open a restaurant soon and have sit-down dining. I would visit often!

This place makes really good food. We enjoy coming here to have their lomein, and we have also tried their chicken dumplings, and teriyaki chicken and beef. Totally recommend the dumplings, which are also at a very affordable price ($4 for 5 pan friend or $3.50 steamed). Their beef lomein is extremely savory and just like a place that was in Ballston area (brings good memories!!), their chicken teriyaki is okay, not the best but not the worst either. Give them a shot. Also very happy about ordering on a screen (or you can also go to the counter), as some of us have social anxiety and it is a good option in case people don't want to interact much with anyone.

I've been eating at chef Lin since I started working at the mall a couple years ago. Always liked it especially because they make traditional Chinese dishes like my boyfriend makes at home. ordered tonight and there was a roach cooked into my food.. took the food and Roach back and showed an employee who simply said "Oh....you want your money back?" No apology or anything. He didn't seem shocked or like he cared. Told my co worker who had just ordered the to eat after I had and he quickly cancelled his order because he was grossed out that I had found a roach in my food. I've worked in the food industry, and I get that bugs happen occasionally, but to not seem shocked or like they cared makes me think they already know there's a problem and don't care. I wish I hadn't already eaten a bunch before I discovered the roach ?

I enjoyed the food a lot. The beef broccoli was very nice, fresh, and overall delicious! I would recommend coming back here.

We love this spot. Fill up your bowl with veggies, tofu, noodles, whatever you want. Add the sauce to your liking and tell them what protein you want. They prepare as you look on. Really good eats at a good value served up quickly.

I visit chef Lin every few months for their make your own stir-fry. I've been coming here for about 10 years now. This is a cost-effective meal option and only runs about $10-13 depending on what meat you add. Sometimes I'll get veggie and add meat at home. The portions are huge, it's truly however much you can fit in your bowl. They have various options such as noodles, veggies, tofu, etc. They also have tons of sauce options. I highly recommend for a good easy dinner option, you can even take out the noodles to get rid of carbs and load up on veggies if you need. The food overall from the make your own stir-fry is always tasty and I've never had an issue. This is conveniently located in Tyson's at the bottom food court near CPK.

Nice sure why the low score. But this is our go-to place for a quick bite of Chinese food at the mall. The owner / staff is super nice and helpful and they will try to make whatever you want to order work - for example, can add or remove things from a dish and still turn out to be delicious. Thank you!
