We ordered takeout, and it came out decent. Ordered mussels in my boil and noticed a majority of the mussels were cracked. I'm not sure if that says anything about their quality.

(Go to the one off Hopkins) this one is honestly one of the worst of it's franchise , food was bad, service was bad, we were one of only 2 groups in the entire restaurant , and we got a table that I was suprised it stayed up for the whole meal, shook worse than a 3 year old walmart cart. The waitress acted like we just Inconvinced her the entire time, the corn was old or something but couldn't eat it, portions were small, couldn't tell if the scallops were even scallops. My 9 dollar long Island tasted like rubbing alcohol mixed with a lemon (granted I like my drinks strong and nasty so it worked for me) but anyone else looking the long Island to taste like one would be disappointed. Seriously, the one off Hopkins road is the standard. Go there.

I love it, we were invited by our friend to hear his band. The address only negative is most of my sweet potato fries were lump & soggy, they should have been nice & crispy!! Also crab cakes need more meat less

this restaurant is great if you like bugs in your sprite! thankfully i took a look at the drink before sipping. after this incident we couldn’t imagine eating there, so we departed. who knows what other creatures awaited in my seafood boil ?

This was my first time going here and as it wasn't a great disappointment it still needs some improvements. I chose a crab boil bag I believe it was the one with 1lb crab legs and pick 2 which I picked shrimp head off, and clams with a side of rice and 2 boiled eggs( sausage, corn and potatoes included) and my choice of sauce was medium lemon pepper with garlic butter sauce on the side.So here we go, the garlic butter sauce was super thick and had way too much garlic( for me undippable), the two potatoes were old(inedible), 2 pieces of corn terrible overcooked( inedible), sausage severely undercooked( inedible). So in a nutshell the food that came in the bag with no extra charge was inedible( sausage, corn and potatoes). Now for the okay stuff, it was very hot in terms (heat) maybe too hot as to the reason my corn was overcooked. The lemon pepper sauce was okay, clams okay with a little grit in some of them, crabs and shrimp were the best( no complaints there) and eggs where also good.I'm not sure if whomever was cooking was rushing or not because of all the excellent reviews I have seen, because they weren't busy when I went on a today(Saturday at 4:30 pm) so I'm not sure why the stuff u listed was inedible. Not the best and not the worst, but I've had way better, just today it was closer and convenient than the seafood place I normally go to. I was thinking of rinsing the inedible food off and giving it to my dog Nova, seeing that it was only two potatoes and not alot of sausage and not to mention my dog never eats table food, I was thinking it won't her, but then I said to self, I I couldn't eat it then I would give it to her to eat. Couldn't even give it to my dog if I really wanted to due to being overcooked and or undercooked don't want to risk her getting sick.Maybe someone will have better luck than I did today, and I may go back minus the potatoes, corn and sausage and side of garlic butter, I felt like a Vampire scared or allergic to garlic is was so much.

We came early on a Friday night at about 6 pm. There were very few tables occupied. The server was prompt and polite. I ordered a dozen raw oysters for the appetizer, but when they arrived, I noticed they appeared somewhat dry and lack-luster. After trying one, they seemed stale, as if shucked ahead of time and left on ice until service. I mentioned this to the manager, and she stated we couldn't return them as we had eaten a few, but offered 5% discount (PS There was NO discount off my bill) When the entrées arrived, there was no reprieve from the poor prep. I ordered the soft shell crab basket: 3 crabs and cajun fries. The crabs were caked in heavy breading, fried until they were a very dark brown and so small (entire fried crab was about 3 inches in diameter, INCLUDING the legs) These crabs would be illegal catch in the US. The cajun fries were cooked and seasoned well. My son ordered a boil with 1/2 pound each: blue crab, crawfish, and sausage. The crawfish and sausage were mediocre at best, but the blue crabs were quite small (barely legal: 5" point to point on the carapace) and very over cooked. The only saving grace was we didn't get sick, and we learned to NEVER RETURN.

I was very excited about going out with friend to eat and listen to a jazz band scheduled to be there. The jazz group was great had a good sound. Now let's start with the service. Communication was broken as it seemed like no one had a clue with reservation arrangements at the desk. That's the first thing, second if you wanted a drink from the bar you had to go get it yourself plus have a ten minute wait for service to receive that . I checked myself to make sure I was not invisible because service was not available. Finally once served someone else had to show the server how to pour ? beer due to too much head on it. But folk were waiting to order thier drinks. The oysters were burnt, over done, on maybe frozen but were not good. Guess complained of cold food but it was replaced. No crab cakes were available but overall you have to pick and choose carefully from the menu.I truly feel staff was overwhelmed from the turn out to include handling carryout orders. If you are in a hurry to eat, this was not happening. I believe with some strong organizational adjustments things could turn. My waitress still received a tip. She could not could not control what was going on in the kitchen. With all that was going on the manager kept a cool head, he head and fixed thing if folk weren't satisfied. Not sure if I will be going back but if I do fried oysters we not be part of my order.

First visit. Last visit. I was so happy to have this close to home. Hush puppies, fried seafood child's dish all greasy. All foods taste the same. No differences between poultry or seafood. Fries were pretty but greasy and bad. Air fryer helped a little. We wasted 35 dollars. We tried this first before spending more on what we normally would purchase. Couldn't be worse without burning meal. So sorry but I wish someone had told me.

Awesome yummy foods, excellent friendly, fast, knowledgeable service staffs. My boyfriend & I really enjoyed our shellfish combos with their super addicting sauce. They are delicious huge portions. Well worth it! This is now our favorite seafood restaurant. I highly recommend.

First time here and the first time eating a seafood boil. My order was hot, delicious, plentiful and affordable. My serving was enough for two. I ordered the "make a serving"of shrimp, crab legs and sausage. Corn and potatoes came with the order. The waiter was friendly and patient. It was a very small crowd at this time on a Sunday evening. Spacious and clean eating areas, bathrooms and parking lot. There was also an area for karaoke on a different night. I will return and I do recommend.

We ordered from here for my mother-in-law's Birthday. She loved it. The service was great. If you are ever in the Midlothian area on Hull Street, check out Ocean Crab Cajun Seafood & Bar. The food is "Good!!" I enjoyed the Crab Cake Basket and my mother-in-law enjoyed Combo A with a 1/2 order of Snow Crab Legs, w. 3 1/2 lb(s) of Shrimp (Head-off). My family enjoyed the food. We will order again.

I had typed up a massive review and for some reason it never saved?! That's a bit disappointing, because I only noticed this two weeks later.I had gotten a flyer in the mail about an all you can eat sushi experience.. (think sushi king with a waste policy). My boyfriend had came home and I wanted sushi, and because of the flyer I wanted to try this place out.The server was simply cute, he tended to us perfectly, and kept checking on us. My boyfriend had told me about 15 or so years ago he wanted to do this live boat thing for sushi--keep that in mind. (He was unable to back then, not sure why).We ordered a lot, as you can see by the pictures. So our server came out and said "oh I've got a surprise for you guys!" And the BOAT is what he brought us, I instantly was in awe. I loved it, i squee'd because it was a first. (There's not many firsts I get with my boyfriend. I lived under a massive pile of rocks and boulders growing up, so he's always treating me to new things.)Listen, it was amazing. So fresh, so perfect. Eel is a weakness of mine, and it was delicious.Thank you for the sushi love boat. It will forever be in my memory! The music was skipping a little, and it was covers of popular songs, and it has reset a song or two.. but it was kinda cute. I got to have a "oh lol the CD player is skipping, wonder if the CD is dirty" moment.I don't think it was intentional, just take a look at your music setup ;)
