Very ordinary BBQ. Ribs were cold when served, straight from the fridge to plate. Pulled pork was so so. Potato salad was interesting if you like dill. Will not come back.

Awesome...barbecue / chicken, great Mac n cheese ? They are in the valley but definitely worth the drive down the mountain if staying at Wintergreen Resort. Maybe 10-15 minute drive. I'm from NC and we have the BEST barbecue. But this was definitely a close runner up.

I cannot possibly overstate the fact that this is the best BBQ sandwich I’ve ever eaten, and there is a lot of experience behind saying that. The only reason I don’t have a picture is because as soon as I took the first bite I turned into Patrick Star and inhaled the entire thing, then went back for another one. Do yourself the favor and eat here

The “one sauce restaurant” needs to expand their sauces. Found their flavor very bland compared to other BBQ flavors. We asked for more sauce…..they said no.

If you like dill, the potato salad is phenomenal. The pulled pork bbq sandwich and turkey croissant were so nice after a long morning hike. I love stopping here when I'm in the area!

"Tries this place years ago a few times and tried it again while working in the area it was okay not very smokey and my meat was tuff on my bbq sandwich I definitely recommend chopping the meat if it's going to be long and stringy wasn't horrible just not what I'm used to for pulled pork"

Great little roadside BBQ window with outdoor seating. Tried the Smoked Turkey Croissant sandwich. Very tasty! The Baked Beans with pork BBQ were good, however the Potato Salad was a little odd, not bad, just not traditional in any way. The people are friendly and the service fast. Portions are decent as well. Will be back to try the Brisket(that they run out of quickly).

Chicken bbq and beans are so good we dream about this place when we are back in dc. It's a staple when hiking and camping in Shenandoah and pairs well with local beers! This time we tried the potato salad and turkey croissant and wow the dill sauce is awesome! This place has charm, don't miss it.

Service was great. Food isn’t anything labeled a ‘must try’. Sort of bland with hints of flavor and not the best texture. Not bad if you’re in a pinch though.

Just right! Went to ride the Nelson County Loop last weekend and stumbled across this wonderful local BBQ joint. Got the smoked turkey sandwich (great) with a side of mac & cheese (really great!). What more could you ask for?
