I had the 3 beef hard shell tacos from the appetizer menu for my meal. They were simple and delicious. Pro tip, pour the salsa from the chips and salsa onto the tacos for a great sauce. Since I’m not fluent in Spanish, I did not know what was exactly on the menu but I was very happy with my tacos. Our server checked on us frequently. If I’m in the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
Staff was nice. The place looked nice. But the food was the most disappointing meal we have purchased in some time. Plain, and I mean no seasoning. Even the sauce on the burrito and enchiladas was bland. The salsa had more flavor than the meal. Maybe it was an off day, or someone new in the kitchen, I don't know. I know we may go elsewhere, but check em out and see what you think.
The world's okayest Mexican restaurant. We were starving, having gone on a long hike. The service was fast and super friendly. The portions were big and the iced tea was cold and refreshing. Not very authentic Mexican cuisine, but hey, you're in Nellysford, VA, not San Antonio. I'd go back.
