Love Big Herm's .. their old restaurant 'The Corner' was my parents favorite restaurant for a while.. so we ate there often when I was growing up! I still like to go to Big Herms! Great sides, them yams !! nah it's the mashed sweet potatoes ? ? ❤️?❤️?Kid-friendliness: It's limited seating , and mostly to-go I believe

I eat here maybe once a week. Occasionally they get my sides incorrect. But everything is great. I suggest the seafood platter with Mac and cheese. Big juicy shrimp and catfish.

A coworker told me about this spot and a friend said it was good. Unfortunately, that is not my perception of the food. I had fried chicken, Mac and cheese and green. The green was the best thing. The chicken was crispy and basic, the Mac had no flavor. Someone else got the Buffalo chicken salad and that thing was hands down the best salad I’ve ever had!!! I ended up eating the salad, throwing away the Mac and giving away the chicken! I can’t say I’ll recommend this place right now, but if I want a good salad I know where to go!!

This was easily one of the best ceaser salads I’ve ever had! I got shrimp instead of chicken and it was a 10/10. I can tell the dressing is homemade and the croutons are also, it’s sooooo good! Will be back (:

I got the cat fish platter with cornbread and the mac and cheese. First of all the cornbread got corn in it. It was good and tasty. The Catfish was well seasoned and the main reason for no pictures. I dug in with the quickness.?

I’ve ordered DD from Big Herm’s twice, and very impressed both times!! I think they go above and beyond most places and it shows. I appreciate the care they take in following instructions on DD and the way everything is neatly packed with utensils.The fried shrimp were well seasoned, and arrived hot and crispy with very tasty cocktail sauce. You get a great deal with the shrimp portion, side, and best corn bread I’ve ever had. Collard greens and green beans were delicous and they’re vegetarian.Don’t skip dessert…chocolate pound cake comes with warm chocolate sauce. It’s like a cake/brownie hybrid and it’s the perfect solution to a chocolate craving. The cake itself is not overly sweet either.Big Herm’s, you are wonderful!

The absolute WORST fried chicken I have had. It tasted as if they thawed it, floured it, then fried it. It had no taste at all just crunch. First and last time I go there. Also, there is no dine in area which is fine but the inside area that leads to the counter felt unclean. I felt like I was getting food from someone's basement.The cashier lady was the bare minimum of pleasant... she could have been more welcoming and friendly.It just felt ghetto. I won't be back. I went a few months ago.
