I don't know if this is from the same people who created Citizen Restaurant a little further down into Richmond but the focus is small but superb. Burgers with a few related things ... That's the emphasis. Some quality sides along with some salads because you have to cover the bases Happy Hour Mon-Fri until I think 7pm gets you $2 off draft, $1 off cocktail and some discount for wine... Always satisfying. This last time I got a burger and it was so good I almost cried. They're also good for hard ciders, if you're like me and you don't go for beer, they're good for having more than just a single default apple cider
Their burgers are truly charcoal grilled and have that charred yet medium rare fresh taste. We tried the side of truffle fries and they were delicious! Came with a garlic aoili. Service was excellent and friendly. I don’t eat much red meat but I make an exception for this burger.
