We had the short rib mac n cheese app, deviled eggs, smash burger and the grilled chicken and local cheese grits. If we came back, we would get the braised short rib app to go with some deviled eggs and that’s it. Both were amazing. The amount seemed small compared to prior pictures but the flavor was outstanding. The short rib was tender and delicious. The Mac n cheese was a perfect combination. The smash burger was a joke. Dry, small, not smashed AT ALL, not even close to anything good. It was overcooked and bland. Really dry. The grilled chicken and cheese grits were not good. The chicken was really, really dry and the cheese grits said local cheese but it was pimento cheese. And tastes like it was sitting for awhile.

excellent tasting American Southern food , cheery and attentive service, reasonable prices and an outstanding selection of beer , wine and mixed drink variety !!! ... one big caveat ... don't park behind the establishment because there are only 12 spots just for Lunch & Supper , the 60 other parking spots are a park and tow your car away SCAM by USA Towing & Recovery (just one of many) owned by Asad Raffo ... I made the mistake and it cost me $195 CASH to get my car back ... lesson learned the hard way !!!

Farm Table Sampler was an excellent choice. The atmosphere was a friendly and casual. The service was great and the food was fresh and prepared with excellence. I highly recommend.

We went to this restaurant based on the rating. We were not disappointed. We had the pulled pork nachos (pulled pork on pork rinds). It was usual and delicious. I had a BYO breakfast sandwich for dinner. The biscuit was terrific - fresh, moist, not crumbly. My partner had the pork ribs and they were meaty and tender.

We live 70 miles away from Richmond, but when we're here this is one of our favorite places.

Divine!! I can't wait to return!!! The wait staff were AMAZING the portions and pricing were perfect and the 'dranks' were fire! Seating is a a bit up close and personal and finding parking was trash BUT those didn't detract from out party from wanting to revisit again and again!! We devoured our food so fast and enjoyed our meals so much that I forgot to snap pics!! But the presentation/ plating were fantastic!

Checked out this place per friend's birthday dinner choice. They do not accept reservations. So be sure to arrive early to get your name on the list and they will text you when your table is ready, giving you a 5 minute grace period. It's a nice casual restaurant with charm located in Scott's Addition. It is street parking only. Check in with the hostess where the white tent is, which leads to their outside seating and bar area. We arrived around 7pm on a Saturday and only had a 15/20 minute wait. We chose first available which ended up being inside with the AC on this sweltering evening. The menu consists of numerous options covering the main farm animals- pig, cow and chicken. I chose the boneless braised short ribs entree with my two sides of collards and a side salad. The ribs were so tender as described, no knife was needed. I found it flavorful which tasted to me like a sweet wine reduction. I honestly have no clue what it was seasoned with (but it tasted like maybe that's what it was?), but it was really good. The collards were delicious too, not too salty for me and the side salad was fresh and crispy. The portions were a perfect size for me. I wasn't overly stuffed nor was I in need of more. I couldn't contain myself and had to try the Krispy Kreme bread pudding. I shared it with my sister for some damage control. It was good, but not "life changing" for me as one person had reviewed. But it was a solid choice. I do love me some Krispy Kreme donuts and I do love ice cream. The Krispy Kreme bread pudding as you would anticipate is very light, as you know KK's original glazed donuts are not dense cake donuts. So if you enjoy the dense bread pudding, you will not find it in this particular one. But it was good. Prices are reasonable and they do offer military discounts. You just have to ask and show proof with ID. The rest of the group ordered short ribs as well, with the exception of the birthday celebrant, went with Chicken and waffles which had an abundant of fried chicken and a huge waffle, as the chicken and beef were highly recommended. My sister had the shorti bowl which was boneless braised short ribs on a bed of cheesy grits with a sunny side egg on top with fresh jalapeños. I enjoyed my experience at Supper and would come back again if I'm back in town.

updating my rating to 5 stars, this is one of my fav brunch spots in Richmond! I love to try their weekend specials! make sure to come right when they open on the weekends bc this place is popular af and u might have to wait otherwise.

The area seems to be a little trendy. A little bit of everything. With a Red and White striped awning a small silo as an outdoor bar, outdoor smoker spit, very friendly customer service and a great menu to boot. Had lunch with the family and not a ton of time. Already looking forward to coming back for dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating, covered and uncovered. No reservations with first come first served seating. Locally brews lager was pretty good. And there is a craft cocktail menu also. Some breakfast items served all day. Going back with my eye on the shrimp n' grits. Follow-up. I returned for my Shrimp n' Grits. As I suspected. Simply awesome. Best dish I have had, ever as far as S n' G goes.

Imperial Crab Dip was yummyyy with a little pica from the jalapeño laid on top (not in). Boneless ribs, Mac, and greens were deliciously flavorful! Was a perfect meal. I look forward to returning for brunch.

My husband and I were coming from Ohio to Hilton Head and met our Baltimore son for several days in Richmond. He introduced us to Lunch/Dinner as our first meal in town, and it will be hard for anything to compare! Early on a weeknight, we did not have a long wait in the outside patio, surrounded by the vegetable and herb gardens. Charming! All of our meals were fresh, unique and delicious. The service was excellent. We had shrimp and local cheese grits with fennel and tomato, a hot chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese, and the evening special of fried trout in a creamy leek sauce. My only regret is being too full for a bread pudding made with Krispy Kreme donuts! If our hotel didn’t have free breakfast, I’d be back there again in the morning. It made a great start to our vacation.

Everything was good! Enjoyed tasting it all with the sampler. Also tried fried chicken, collards, mac, and Brussels. Nothing stood out as a whammy, but great vibe, atmosphere, service, and everything tasted great!

yeah...could've been better.... - Biscuits were dry....wasnt worth the calories - fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese were okay....maybe it tasted not as great because of the pretentious snarkiness from the outdoor bartender? - lo-fi hipster vibe definitely would not go back.
