What’s not wrong with this place. The food tastes like it was scooped out of the grease trap on the floor, the staff is pompous and rude, the whole place was dirty, fix the busted window it’s 30 degrees outside.Do better.

Fantastic unique food. Fun atmosphere & great service. Michael was our server today & he made many great suggestions & checked up on us plenty. Wish more places had great service like this!Take a chance & try something new here! Cinnamon bun was delicious but so was the special Sheppards pie.

A funky restaurant for aged hippies. This is a crowded neighborhood restaurant typically filled with locals. You have to know it is there, tucked away in the corner of a small, aged shopping center.Vegetarian options: Slim pickings but there.Dietary restrictions: Menu is clearly marked.Parking: Tight parking in a small lot in the tiny shopping center.Kid-friendliness: Yes, but we saw no children at breakfast.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, but very tight.

Quirky wonderful little restaurant I tried for the first time this weekend & I can't wait to go back! So many menu items I look forward to trying. The service was fantastic & the vibe is so fun!

We went savory today and ordered the eggs bennie and a club sandwich with tater tot hash. We got perfectly poached eggs and a sandwich too big to fit in my mouth. Loved that the fruit side was actual berries, not a melon cop out. Kinda wish we'd tried the cinnamon roll and the Irish cream latte but next time for sure.

Excellent place for brunch. I recently dined here with my Mom and she loved the vibe, food, and coffee. Our server kept our cups full and made sure everything was to our liking. We was even given a complimentary serving of grits for my Mom who was unsure whether to order them because they are a unique house favorite. She loved them. I love their sweet potato hash and pancakes!

Not only was the service, staff, and food great, but we had our pup with us, and they brought him a towel to lay on and a small side of bacon. They went above and beyond without even being asked. And I'm a bit of a biscuits and gravy snob. Their twisted version Glitter on a Matress was wonderful. We'll definitely be back.

This is the second time we have eaten here and I chose the weekly special. It was Flo Jo's blueberry French toast with a cornbread crusted Texas toast with blueberry whipped cream and it was phenomenal! The first time I went, I had the tin roof rusted hash which was awesome so I made sure to get a side of that this time too. My boyfriend always sticks with the big as a whale breakfast platter and he loves it! I definitely plan on trying to go weekly so I can catch these creative and delicious menu items! The atmosphere is really great as well, we really don't get on our phones when we go in there because there's so much activity on the walls and just good vibes of watching people enjoy each other's presence instead of everybody facing down looking at their phones. Definitely worth the trip no matter how far you're traveling!

Very cozy breakfast and brunch spot! Incredible food and amazing staff! Full bar inside as well! Weekly specials are on the chalkboard. Gets packed on the weekend mornings. To be honest it's the best breakfast spot I've been to in Richmond! Great tasting food!!!

I only stopped at the Lakeside location for a quick snack and a coffee on my way out of town. I asked for a biscuit with pimento cheese. Let me tell you, that pimento cheese was UN?BE?LIEV?ABLE! Tangy, a little sweet, a little heat, creamy and delicious on a soft-as-a-cloud homemade biscuit! Next time I’m in town, you better believe I’m getting a whole meal!

At first, our drink order was wrong, but that was quickly corrected. It is clear that this place prides itself on its food, both in presentation and preparation. The hash and French toast were excellent. It was surprising then to have had such horrible bacon. It was completely devoid of flavor. With so many good restaurants in Richmond it’s doubtful that we’ll return, but if we do, we won’t be ordering anything with bacon.

Love Shack was great. We went a couple weeks back and I am catching up on some reviews.I do intend on going back to the Love Shack. Very unique twists on traditional breakfast items. The food was cooked, presented and tasted very good. The portions were in the Goldilocks zone for me… not too much, not too little. The coffee was fine, nothing special but fine.We did have a bit of an issue with service. Not very attentive and slow on beverage orders. Once the food was served, which took a longer than is reasonably expected, they pulled a bit of the disappearing act. I will add that the restaurant was very busy at the time. I don’t see that as an excuse though… staff up if needed. I’ve only been once and we all experience poor service from time to time at any restaurant, so I didn’t want to penalize my overall rating too harshly.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options availableParking: Ample parking directly in front of Love Shack.

Had a great brunch at the place. They don't have omelets, and that surprised me as I haven't seen any breakfast places not selling omelets. However, I ordered something that was closer to omelets, and it was great. It is a cool place for breakfast. I liked the decor at the restaurant. It is lively and has good vibes.
