My ONLY ISSUE was after an argument between 2 younger men in the restroom over GOD knows what the smaller youth had a 9mm sidearm which he chambered in the restroom. I encouraged him to let's just leave but he claimed that "this is my spot and I ain't going nowhere!!" giving me the impression that the other was not from Richmond Metro area. Maybe just a "frisk" search at the door by someone in a security shirt???

Awesome bar with good service. Don't expect to come in and act like you own the place and be treated like royalty just because you're used to playing the race card to get what you want. Otherwise you can't beat this place, easy 5/5.

Don't go to this bar if you are a person of color. The bartender was rude and unwelcoming. Had a attitude because we wanted a minute to decide on drinks. They regulars are rude and stare at you so much it makes you uncomfortable. If you need need a new neighborhood bar this isn't it.

They clean the entrance area at end of night with a dirty mop. Bathrooms are not cleaned, and 3 inches of dust, cigarette ash piled up under pool tables and on carpet.

Nice little bar. Not Irish at all though. The hamburger was good but a little pricey.
Bartenders... ?? best in the city... Owners/Managers Sandra and Chong refuse to speak to customers. Like children who run a bar. They're also the type who turned down new ceiling tiles for free from a long time patron... take that as you will.

Great local dive bar where everyone knows your name

The Shamrock Pub is a great little local spot to throw darts, shoot pool, have a drink with friends, and even have a surprisingly good meal! Yeah, it's a little rough around the edges and not a swanky gastro pub with polished mahogany and $18 cocktails, but that's what we love about it. Good food, good drinks, and good friends, all for a fair price. Our bartender last night, Kari, was terrific. Looking forward to another visit soon.

The Rock....., hole in the wall. Pretty decent food. Alcohol is lacking cheap stuff, nothing good for me anyway. I'll go down the road to Caddy's and drink all night stop here for a pool game and buy a redbull because they don't have anything I want. Y'all should seriously look into adding Patron and/or Don Julio. Plenty of regulars which is really the only reason I continue to come.
