We ordered the Pimiento Wontons (tasty), the Bacon & Gouda Sliders (very good), and the Fish & Chips (read below).

On a really bad COVID-19 day, I just wanted some good, comforting food. And that came as the Turkey Rachel from Toast RVA. It was delicious! The sweet potato tots are amazing, the service - even in the midst of this terrible time for small businesses - is quick, friendly and the food is packed perfectly so that even large orders are separated. Give Toast RVA your business! Now and in the future when we are out of this mess. The food is a step above the usual lunch places, always fresh, always fast and always tasty.

This place is absolutely amazing from the food to the employees. I go there at least three times a week if not more and I'm very happy every time I leave!!! The Nashville Chicken sandwich is to die for!!!!! Do yourself a favor and go check it out!!! The Pork Carnitas are off the chain as well!!!!!

In light of the recent virus quarantine, we wanted to support local restaurants with our take-out dinner choice tonight so we agreed on Toast...curbside service was prompt and efficient and the food was beyond delicious!! We were super pleased and can’t wait to do it again!

So glad Toast Village is repopened. The Nashville Chicken sandwich is a must try. Try the pimiento cheese wontons to start. So good, my daughters and I had to order a second helping!

quality of the food always meets and exceeds expectations, and the staff is fantastic.

Toast has a neat, local environment, especially for a restaurant inside of a plaza. The recent fire did not impact the looks or operation of the restaurant; it's still as great as before! The menu has a nice variety without being too huge. My husband and I love the brunch, especially the Chicken & the Egg! The servers are always very polite and responsive.

Had pick up order tonight and everything was delicious. It was so nice to have someone else cook tonight. Lovely wine at $10 a bottle. Thank you Toast for staying open and giving me and my family an amazing dinner. We will keep coming for your wonderfully prepared food during this strange time and appreciate you much. Stay open for us!!!

Their brussel sprouts appetizer is great. The staff did well to make sure we were happy. We tried a dish that we did not care for but they worked to make it a good experience. Good beer selection. Nice atmosphere.

So happy that y'all are back open! The food and service were great as usual!

First time back since they were opened after the fire. The place was quiet at lunchtime and the service was prompt, the sweet potato tots were very hot and good. The Brussel sprouts appetizer was so chopped as to lack substance but with good flavor. The tomato bisque was very good as was the scallops appetizer. The new decorations are attractive and brighten the walls. Two of us had the Toast burger and they seem to cook them all the same and kept warm before serving, we had one medium and one medium well and both were well done and not real hot. Since we didn't complain to the server about the burgers it is on us but good servers pay attention to the food coming out.

Had a delicious lunch and drinks with friends. Everything was great except the music didn't match the decour.

Came here this afternoon. The service was really great. The waiter was awesome and super attentive! The food was excellent. I got the Cuban Ruben, even as a combination of the two it’s been the best I’ve had in the city so far! The Parmesan truffle fries were just okay nothing spectacular.

Had a great brunch with some family visiting from out of town. Host was very polite, and our server, Hunter, was awesome! Cute atmosphere, excellent service and great quality and quantity of food for the price. Hope to return again soon.

I was really excited when Toast opened back up after the fire. However, my dad and I went Saturday night and I was disappointed by the same menu (was expecting some new items) and the same slow service from before (our sever also brought me the wrong drink).

Re-opened with a bang! Nashville chicken sandwich and pimiento cheese wontons were fantastic.

I liked look of the place. I was not super impressed with my breakfast plate or my partners food. A bit underwhelmed. Seemed popular. Good location. Clean. Easy parking.

I wanted so hard to love it here. They have the best scallop sliders, but the service is terrible. Each time I've been the bar staff has ignored more. Even when it's not full it was difficult to be served. So why 3 stars instead of 1...Those Sliders are worth the rude demeanor of the bar staff saying, "I heard you the first time," after waiting for 10 min for a refill of water or anything. Go for the food, not the service or prices

Great brunch place. Didn’t like it as much for dinner. Get the homemade doughnut holes.

Love their food, but they need to contact google and let people they're temporarily closed for renovations. Trekked there in the rain this morning only to find they were closed. Workmen were in there and confirmed they're renovating. Not cool.

The restaurant is located in a funky little strip mall, kind of an odd place. However, once you've entered the restaurant, the ambiance is pretty cool. By the end of our dinner, we'd become a part of 7 for dinner. I personally went out on a limb and ordered the Cuban Reuben because I LOVE Reubens. The Cuban was absolutely outstanding!! My husband had the meatloaf and we both enjoyed it. My daughter and others had burgers that they all said we're very good. There remaining dinner guest ordered the fish tacos, saying they were fantastic All in all, I highly recommend this place!

Just left this restaurant, terrible dining experience. We weren’t seen by a waitress for over 25 minutes. When we finally went to find someone, we asked for some bread or something for our three children to snack on since we had already been waiting for so long, they offered to bring out some fries right away...they never came. Our children’s food came out first, no silverware, had to again get up to find someone to ask for it. 15 minutes later, two adult meals still weren’t

Quite possibly one of the best burgers I've had in my life. Perfect spot to hit after a long day at work for a cold drink and some mouth watering food. Visiting the area from out of town for work but will certainly make a point to grab a bite to eat (even if its for the road) the next time I'm in town. Cheers!

This was my first time eating here and the food was subpar, very hit or miss. I ordered the veggie burger, mashed potatoes w chives (which didn't have my chives on that I ordered and payed for) and garlic spinach. I would not recommend if you're looking for a tasty lunch or dinner.

I had the Salmon Rueben, it was great! I haven't seen it anywhere before and all the flavors blended together so well. Don't worry it's made with cabbage not sauerkraut.

Been here twice when it first opened. Had a great experience. The place was packed both times. Came back about two years later and everything I first thought was out the window. There was only maybe two older couples there. I got some ribs and Mac dish. I kid you not it was like frozen burt and stale from two days just sitting. Like it was microwaved. I will say they did a great job at attempting to make sure I was satisfied since I only ate two bites and laughed it off, but at that time the damage was done. If you can send food out like that you don’t deserve high ratings. No real cool would let something like that out the kitchen. I get it, but for 55 bucks The food should have lived up to the price. I will say my girlfriends salmon was cooked fairly well, and tasted decent.

Had the grilled Caesar salad with salmon and it was wonderful. The grilled Caesar was delicious and the salmon was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Service was great. I only give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the music was painfully loud. Why must we all suffer this new annoying restaurant trend of blaring music while we eat and talk? The restaurant is already very loud from happy patrons so turn the volume down and you have a home run here. I will anxiously return again but will consider bringing my earplugs to tone it down to a comfortable level. At the end of the meal my friend and I both wished that we had a place like this in our own neighborhood.

Loved the Pimento cheese wonton Appetizers. The Turkwy Ruben with Apple Slaw was amazing! Brussel sprouts with Balsamic Glaze and Bacon to die for . Yummy..

Salmon BLT salad with Wasabi Ginger Vinaigrette was absolutely amazing. The avocado was fresh. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the dressing really pulled it all together. I'm in town for work and needed a quick, healthy lunch in my hotel room. Toast and Grubhub delivered. Excellent food and speedy delivery!

Exceptional food, very creative menu and good service. Excellent for gluten free people, I got to eat a sandwich!!

My friend and I went visited Toast for lunch. They offered lunch specials but I found them to be too pricey so I went with regular food menu items. We had their Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and they were just perfect. They were perfectly cooked with bacon, Parmesan cheese, and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. We ordered the mexi burger and pesto chicken ciabatta sandwich for our entrees. To be honest, I wasn't totally impressed with the mexi burger. The pesto chicken ciabatta sandwich was good but if I were to go back I would want to try the meatloaf, as the server also highly recommended it. I would give this ace another try for sure. I almost forgot to mention, my order came with fries but my friends order came with sweet potato tots. If you're a sweet potato fanatic like me, you'll love them. They served a house made ketchup with the fries as well. Although I did not prefer it, it was quite tasty.

Another amazing meal at Toast... the chicken Bennie for brunch was perfect and incredible! I love that brunch is served until 4:00 for us late brunchers!! Toast checks all the boxes... great food, fast friendly service, moderate noise level, clean and cool vibe, well priced and nice sized portions. I love this place! Toast rocks!

Good food at a reasonable price. Lots of cool local options, including some unique drinks. Sweet potato tots are a must-have and my wife's ribs and mac and cheese was great! Awesome Caesar salad as well - best Caesar dressing we've had. Great service and vibe.

Traveling to Richmond on business. Tried this place for dinner on the recommendations of the hotel staff. Co-worker & I ordered the fried pickles-&-jalapeí±os for an app. Can't go wrong with fried salty-spicy goodness!

Coming back to say that their delivery service is on point! I had a great experience ordering from them when I was having a busy day at work and couldn't step out for lunch. I ordered the salmon salad and everything about it was amazing. I especially loved the dressing that it came with. This is absolutely going to be a great choice for lunch moving forward.

What drew me here was the 11a-7p daily happy hour-- ummm, yes please!! But it was the food that will make me come back! The restaurant is clean, ample space in the booths, service was fantastic and the food was spectacular. I ordered chorizo tacos (tasty!) and the other 2 in my group ordered the Chicken and the Egg dish (basically sausage gravy and biscuit with fried chicken and an egg. They were in LOVE with the housemade biscuits and everything else matched the meal perfectly. Will be back the next time I am in town!
