Have been there twice. It was amazing both visits. Nice variety and a friendly staff. Our most recent visit we had Denzel as our waiter, and he was great. We drove an hour just to eat there and it’s well worth it.

Move aside, Temple. Veomany Market has the best Laotian food in Richmond! From the outside, the place looks dinky and un-special. The interior is a gutted house with bright green walls and a few shelves with non-perishable goods. This place is carry-out only - they do not have a place for you to sit and eat. The nam khao is out of the this world good. Crispy, sweet, savory - an explosion of flavor. The pork larb was served with a side of sticky rice and was fragrant and lemongrassy... delish. The papaya salad was a little disappointing but the other dishes made up for it. The fact that they only have THREE main menu items means you know that they know what they are doing. We are definitely coming back here in the future.

Authentic Lao food! Love this place! Laap, papaya salad and sticky rice are the best. They are wonderful people!

I'm so happy we stopped in this little shop that's hidden and tucked away. Please order their food! It's so flavorful and just delicious. The portions are generous and the pricing is great without compromising on quality and freshness. And the people are so very friendly. I'll be back for more.

Real Lao food! Love this place! Small menu but have the staples, laap, papaya salad and sticky rice. Very nice people!

The food in this tiny restaurant located in a small home is delicious and very affordable. The service was fast, and the server was very helpful and attentive. I highly recommend it. Cash only.

Great food using fresh ingredients. Authentic Laotian food that reminds me of home cooked meals. Large portions for very reasonable prices. The owners are incredibly nice, and are always ready to please! All of the dishes are great but we always go back for the #1 papaya salad, beef laab, and nam khao.

Simple, no-frills family-owned take-out place for Lao food with a market. The owner and family are super nice! Everything made fresh. The regular menu is laab with chicken, beef or pork, two kinds of papaya salad, and nam khao - a rice salad that has lots of herbs, peanuts and lime. The flavors are perfectly balanced - salty, spicy, sour, with a bit of sweetness. These are served with sticky rice. Every time I've gone they've had specials too - lao sausage, fried rolls, red curry chicken noodle soup, desserts. Everything I've had has been delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big! I'm a big fan of this place. So glad there's a casual lao food place in Richmond now. They take card and they're is working on having ubereats deliver as well.

My friend and I wanted to sample this place. I placed 3 orders and met her for lunch to share everything. Nam Khao, papaya salad and Chicken Laab...all were delicious. Hopefully they will start selling uncooked Lao sausage so I can keep a supply in my freezer.

Authentic Laotian food. This is a cute, little, hole-in-the-wall place which is part market and part carry-out restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff was very friendly.

This place is a small, pretty bare bones Laotian market with pretty basic Southeast Asia essentials--25 and 50 lb bags of Jasmine rice, fresh and dried rice noodles, fish sauce, extra large cans of curry paste, fried garlic, coconut milk, etc. The selection is quite limited, but the star is made-to-order takeout Laotian food. They offer Nam Khao (fried rice salad with cilantro, lime, peanuts, crispy fried rice bits (no ham), papaya salad (go with version 2 for the more authentic one), curry chicken and noodles soup dish, laab available in a few different meat varieties. They say that they are expanding the menu as they go. The market and kitchen are very clean. The lady doing the cooking uses gloves, yay! Get this, she actually uses them properly too, unlike most, and takes them off to do non-cooking tasks. That is a major plus in my book. The owners are very nice. They are always patient to answer questions and share about the future plans for the restaurant offerings. They appreciate their patrons, and I am always happy to support businesses with owners like them. So far, I have only had the name Khao ($5.99). It is very good! It has peanuts and is nuttier than what I am used to at Lao New Year at the temple up in Catlett, but it's very flavorful, still has the nice citrus tang, and I love the shallots on top, mmm! It took about ten to 15 minutes for my order to be ready. For pay, they accept cards and Apple Pay. Definitely check them out. It's nice to not have to wait a whole year or go up to Philly to have some good Lao food. I can't wait for them to expand the menu. I am totally trying the noodles next. Mmm!!

Simple yet decent place for a good lunch. Service is a lot better than other comparable Vietnamese restaurants. Pho was exceptionally good. Would surely visit again.

We came here on a recommendation from a friend, was terrific. Service friendly and prompt, pho was delicious. Looks weird outside as though its someones house but you wont be disappointed. Get the vietnamese coffee with milk, amazing!!

We got what we came for and were very satisfied with what we got. We ordered Pho and the Summer Rolls. Both were delicious. The restaurant was cozy and low key.
