I stay at IHG 90% of the time when traveling. I literally came here because of the restaurant as I have vouchers. I get here and I'm told it is closed two days each week, including today.
Details on the IHG app and Google maps both day open daily - 7 days.

Whitney and Stevie were great, my Dad and I both got burgers. They were super juicy and delicious!! Definitely a fair price and a nice clean environment. I love this place, we have lived at this hotel for about 3 months and I definitely recommend this spot! Brownie Sunday was pretty and delicious!!

During our stay at the Candlewood, we decided to dine at the hotel restaurant to save ourselves the hassle of venturing out with the kids. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our meal, thanks to the chef working that evening.I opted for the sirloin salad, and it was a true delight. The combination of tender steak, creamy blue cheese, crisp lettuce, and the delightful vinaigrette dressing created a harmonious blend of flavors. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and found it to be a perfect choice. My husband decided to try the burger, and he was blown away by its taste. The burger was bursting with flavor and exceeded all expectations. It was everything you could desire in a burger and more. We couldn't have asked for a better burger experience. As for our kids, they ordered grilled cheese sandwiches. Both of them absolutely loved their meals, and I had the chance to try a bite of my son's sandwich. For a simple grilled cheese, it was remarkably delicious. The butter was perfectly spread, creating a crispy exterior, and the cheese was just the right amount, resulting in a satisfying and comforting treat.Throughout our dining meal, we interacted mainly with our friendly waitress, i believe her was is Whitney. She provided exceptional service and went out of her way to make our children feel welcome and at ease. Her warm demeanor added to the overall positive experience we had at the restaurant.Considering that this was a hotel restaurant, our experience exceeded our expectations. The skill of the cook, the flavorful dishes, and the friendly service made it a memorable dining experience. If you find yourself staying at the Candlewood, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Kid-friendliness: We didn't see highchairs, but the staff was very friendly to my kids.

Stayed 1 week for work as a Diamond member. The Candlewood Suite and the Holiday Inn are really just share one hotel. The front desk people are new and had difficulty with the computer and didn’t seem to know much about the amenities and benefits of different IHG status level. The hotel seems to be undergoing renovation and looks fairly new. PROS: Fairly big suite with nice kitchen (large fridge and microwave), new looking and clean room, fairly quiet, strong toilet, nice hot breakfast at the restaurant/bar (comp for Diamond member). CONS: very weak shower water pressure, terrible toilet paper, was not rewarded Green bonus points for not using housekeeping. Overall, more good than bad, but they really need to do something about the shower water pressure.

We go a little out of our way to stay at this hotel when traveling. The hotel is clean and the staff is amazing! A big shout out to Brian in the Restaurant and Victoria that checked us in and out the next day. Brian always remembers us no matter how much time has passed. He is so friendly and accommodating. Makes the end of that long trip so relaxing. And the food is fantastic. Victoria was very accommodating, finding us the perfect room since my husband has difficulty walking. I cannot say enough about this place!

My wife and I had booked a stay for Sunday 11/21 and Monday 11/22. We arrived to find the facility wasn't very clean, dirty and garbage in a number of areas. The room itself was reasonably clean, except for in the bathroom it appeared that someone had spilled a liquid on the wall next to the shower and it hadn't been fully cleaned. The room was in the fourth floor, with the window above the lobby. Sunday's stay was ok, reasonably uneventful. Monday, we had been out in Roanoke and returned to the room about 5 P.M. There was very loud construction noise, drilling, hammering in close proximity to our room. We ignored the noise for about 45 minutes and then contacted the front desk. The person who answered the phone said that there had been three other complaints and security was going up to advise them to stop. The noise continued for an additional 45 minutes. During our entire stay, there were a number of children present in the lobby. By the appearance, they were children of a hotel employee. There was also a dog present on Monday afternoon/evening. The children made a great deal of noise, screaming, hollering and crying. This was happening up until right at 11 P.M. Tuesday morning at 7 A.M. the construction noise began again. Hammering, drilling and cutting of metal. This noise woke my wife and I up, and prevented us from sleeping. We gathered our things and went to check out. My wife spoke to who we believe was the person in charge to reiterate our problem with the noise. The woman that she spoke to initially lied and said that she wasn't aware that there was construction noise happening. In the next breath, she said that the were converting part of the hotel into an extended stay facility, she apologized, not seeming very sincere. We were not notified upon booking the room that there was construction happening, there were not any notices posted in the lobby and nothing was mentioned by the clerk at check in that there could be construction noise. A complete waste of money! We contacted the hotel and Holiday Inn Corporate with zero satisfaction. Stay away!
