I tried the food today for the first time because my cousin told me about it, but not satisfied. The flavor of pernil wasn’t there and the white rice was a little gummy and the beans didn’t have no flavor I didn’t taste the sofrito in the food at all. I also cook Puerto Rican food also and my cousin said my beans is more flavorful. She had to put salt on her food and that is not good. Alcapurrias should of been fried a little longer too soft no crisp to it.

I’f you’re looking for a place do eat some delicious, authentic Puerto Rican cuisine in Roanoke and the general area look no further than Delicias Boricuas. The customer service was as warm and friendly as you would expect from a 5 star restaurant. Don’t miss out on this gem or a restaurant in Roanoke.Vegetarian options: Corn sticks, Yuca fries, Grilled cheese, Toast, sweet plantain, tostones, are some great vegetarian options!!Kid-friendliness: The location definitely caters to your child’s dietary preferences.Parking: The restaurant is located inside a building at the Crafteria along with other businesses, but there’s plenty of paid and free street parking and a paid parking lot just in front of the Crafteria.

The only thing better than the food is the owners hospitality. The food is definitely 5 star and very reasonably priced but its the owners who make it special, they talked me through the menu and explained everything to me.I can't wait to go back and go back often, its a true foodies food paradise.Im very thankful to have them here in the Roanoke valley!!!!!
