Deschutes Brewery Tasting Room

We ran across Deschutes when we were trying to find parking in downtown Roanoke to go to a restaurant nearby. We ended up paying to park so we figured we would check out the brewery in addition to getting dinner closeby. We ended up getting a flight with a few IPAs, Tumalo Kriek Cherry Lambic, and Obsidian Nitro Stout. All of the beers were very good, but Tumalo Kriek was my personal favorite. I was so pleasantly surprised to see Deschutes in Roanoke while visiting from out of town! I am familiar with Deschutes from promoting it in Michigan and I excited to see my favorites (Black Butte and Fresh Squeezed) on their menu. The location is conveniently located in the heart of Roanoke and they have indoor and outdoor seating. We grabbed a brew while waiting for a table at a restaurant nearby and had a nice time!

We were wandering downtown (New to Roanoke) and found this place. Didn't partake in their Saturday paninis but did get a flight of their beer. They have a nice selection of IPAs and stouts. They were extremely friendly and helpful when I was selecting my flight. We sat on one of the many window seats.
