The garlic knots were hard on top and only slightly soft in the middle. The chicken Alfredo sauce was minimal until I asked for more and the chicken was diced really small making it almost impossible to remove from the pasta which I wanted to bring back home. The lettuce in the salad was really fresh and green, though so that was good. As far as the garlic knots, I couldn't taste the garlic on it at all.Wheelchair accessibility: In the back parking lot in front of the Salem Library there is a walkway & ramp. This is perfect for those who are disabled and need help.

It’s ok. We are staying at La Quinta I 81 and ordered delivery. We ordered a large cheese pizza and a green salad. Came right to our room, and 40 minutes earlier than projected. Really nice people, yummy, but not NY style. The crust was ok, there’s a lot of cheese. I ordered a balsamic vinaigrette and it was sweet.

I would give 5 stars for everything but they were really short staffed and we had to wait probably 15 minutes before a server approached and another 10 for our sodas (2 people). I totally get it and it was packed when we got there but a quick stop by a server (even to give an eta on service) goes a long way. The food was amazing! And, the area was as clean as to be expected for the amount of people and staff.

Staff was helpful and nice at pick up but as a first timer picking up for an elderly woman she was upset she couldn't eat all her garlic bread that came with her chicken parm cuz it was burnt on one side. Kinda a bummer. The rest was tasty. Not sure she will wanna order from here again tho. : / she's old school, it's either all good or nah. I enjoyed my pizza tho.

Haven't been in a while so I figured I'd get a pizza and some fried ravioli. Girl on phone could not figure what I was talking about when I said I wanted fried ravioli, she kept saying "do you want the sauce one" once I thought we got it straight I headed that way to pick up. They called me on my way to just make sure of what I wanted because of some confusion. I'm glad they did that but after I picked up pizza and what I figured was fried ravioli I got home to find it was not......it was a pasta dish. I was also told 30 mins and it would be ready so I got there 15 mins early and waited with no problem, but once I got home the pizza was cold and whatever pasta dish I got was the same. Wasn't very impressed.

Very simple rustic atmosphere which we like. Our wait staff person was very cool & helpful with recommendations. We ordered a slice of pizza. Sometimes you wonder if a portion will be enough. Believe me, it was. Very good pizza. Tasted like there was love put into it. Would definitely recommend.Food: 4/5

The food is phenomenal. Relaxed atmosphere. Over my many visits, I've enjoyed their fried mushrooms appetizer, house salad, calzones, pizza and Philly cheese steak. They have delicious ranch and crisp soda. Service has always been incredible and I've never had to wait to be seated.Food: 5/5

Don't bother ordering pizza from this place. We have just traveled 10 hours. Got our hotel in Salem, Virginia at 8pm and the counter gave us a Frank's Pizza menu. They are open til 9pm and just 4 minutes down the street, so I called to order delivery at 8:05 and was told that they just stopped delivering. The girl told me that they were just 4 minutes down the street if I wanted to come pick it up, so I asked if they would deliver a pizza since they were just 4 minutes down the street and she said that they will not deliver anymore this evening. After driving 10 hours I did not care to drive anymore, so not only did I not get a pizza, I will frequent this area in the future (as we travel) and I will not ever call this pizza place. They sure do not care about serving people.

After a 10 hour car ride we were looking for a place to eat, and franks was one of three options open. Safe to say it did not disappoint! The pizza was really good, and the staff was extremely friendly! We came in about half an hour to closing, and they were kind enough to put in some drinks and two pizzas for us! Thank you guys, keep doing amazing!

We ordered a pizza to have delivered to Olde Salem. Not only did they not deliver it, but 20 minutes after the time they said the pizza would be ready, we went to get it, paid cash, and they refused to give us our change, which was almost $20.

Franks Pizza had become a go to for our family! The pizza is delicious and perfect for any impromptu get together. There is a great menu selection for lunch and dining in.I’m also very pleased with the staff. While young, they all seem very professional and put the customer first.Side note, I believe you can order Franks while you’re enjoying a brew at Olde Salem.

We recently moved to Salem. As avid pizza lovers our first food mission was to find a suitable pizza place. I am from NY originally so I take my pizza/Italian food seriously. After a few failed attempts at other places we stumbled into Franks. First, the location is great right on Main in the heart of Salem. Second, you walk in to the classic "kitchen in the front" design which is popular in NY pizza parlors. The staff is friendly and attentive and of course the pizza is great! Best we have found in town. So why 4 instead of 5 stars? Well that's my NY'r. Their calzones lack ricotta cheese. When I asked to have it put into my second order I was told "we got rid of ricotta a couple years ago". My brain is still trying to wrap around that... and their garlic knots are crap. That being said, we haven't found any place in town with good bread. Basically there is room for improvement. They have use app for rewards points called Toast Takeout. Seems the staff isn't really aware of its benefits either. The do offer outside dining (check in first) as well as a military discount. They also have a great branded T-shirt design stating "legalize marinara".

We stopped here to try their pizza for dinner. They have seating outside. Service was very good and prompt. The pizza was a good size, prices good also. The pizza is good, we would return if we are in the area.
