This is my local abc store and they do a great job. The staff is always nice and helpful. I have never been to this establishment and had a bad experience. I think they have a good selection, especially operating under VA Alcohol laws.
No CCW. Otherwise great experience. Prices are good, staff is friendly, and it's open on Sundays. Sign on door says police may pose undercover as store employees. The cashier assured me that he wasn't undercover, but isn't that just what an undercover cop would say?

After being unable to get certain bottles from the limited NC ABC system, I called and placed a special order with the South Hill VA ABC store. They got the bottles and called me when they came in. The staff was VERY helpful and VERY friendly. It was worth the hour and fifteen minute drive. They also had bottles on the shelf of many products that just aren't seen in NC.
