Popped in for a quick dinner meal and was pleasantly surprised. Meal was freshly made and delicious. Had the chicken enchiladas which came with rice and beans. Enchiladas were topped with chopped lettuce, fresh avocado slices, and crumbled white cheese. Benas and rice were delicious as well. For desert I had the flan which was also amazing. Not too runny. Not too stiff.
Service was incredibly fast and was in and out within 30 minutes.
Will be back again. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

What a joke đ€Ł we buy a Queso fundido alongside TWO meals and they give no tortilla chips! Most Mexican places try to giveaway tortilla chips⊠plus the meal sizes are so small.
Old chicharron obviously not freshly fried. Old Guacamole that was changing color. Horchata tasted like chamomile, tamarindo juice was bland. The âCarne Asadaâ was obviously stewed chuck roast. The service was ok, but I honestly paid the bill and walked out. Literally had a taste and decided it was not worth it. Went bro this place hungry and honestly lost my appetite.
Judging from the ownerâs comments to 1 star reviews, the owner doesnât care or intend to change anything. I Definitely tell all the Marines at quantico to avoid this place like the plague.

Worst but literally worst Mexican food my family and I have ever had in our lives. Horchata tasted like manzanilla, chirrarones were old and nasty, carne azada tacos or anything carne azada tasted more like dog food. We ordered almost one hundred dollars just to not touch our food. We tried it and spit it out. We are reasonable people and would have eaten the food even if it was mediocre, but it wasnât even edible. We paid and walked out leaving the food untouched. We still left a tip to the waitress since it wasnât her fault, but I wouldnât recommend this place to anyone.

this place had some disappointment, including when you asked for a cup of water they give you a bottle and charge you and if you get chips and salsa, surprise, they charge you and thatâs for every basket no refills. The food was decent. Donât recommend it highly. I paid $75 for me and two colleagues lunch.

Quick and close to the rear gate of Quantico for a lunch off base without having to go all the way to stafford. Had the taquitos with rice and beans. No chips and Salsa like most Mexican restaurants. Clean and quiet. Food was great, portions were good for the cost. Parking readily available.

They make you pay for everything, even water here. No chips and salsa like other Mexican restaurants. The service is very slow and the food is not that great!! Pretty expensive, do not recommend

It's a cozy and special restaurant with a beautiful Mexican history. I had the pleasure of hearing the owner tell the story and felt very welcome. The food is delicious and fresh. I really like the orchata. They serve you immediately without waiting. Very good service and very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the bathrooms also have a family atmosphere. You can also sit at the bar and have a good beer and enjoy a good ceviche or snack. I recommend this place 10/10. This time I ordered takeout and only had to wait 10 minutes for my food to be ready. I also love the $2.49 taco specials, a good price and super delicious.

I had such a wonderful experience at El Molcajete Moya 2 near Quantico, VA! The food was fresh, flavorful, and authenticâtruly a taste of Mexico. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for both family gatherings and a casual meal with friends.
A special shoutout to Jasmine, who was an absolute pleasure. Thanks again.
Great food and atmosphere! Katie our server is super nice. Thank you Katie! We ordered Chicharrones, Ceviche, Guacamole, and Enchiladas. No leftovers. No pics either since we were so busy eating. We will be back !

Without a doubt the best Mexican food Iâve had. I had the honor of speaking with the owner, Hector, and he told me his story of how he came to opening the restaurant. Wonderful staff, as well!
