I had a very nice lunch today at the bar and a very pleasant, knowledgeable server. She really knows the menu and gave me good info! I had tuna tartare, crispy calamari, NE clam chowder, a crab cake and onion rings. All were outstanding and made in house. The crabcake was actually crab not bread crumbs which is a rarity these days. Cant wait to go back and try the lobster roll and french fries.

Picked this place on other reviews and location. Very nice casual atmosphere. Lots of staff buzzing all over. Customers all seemed super happy. Our waiter was nice but wondering if he was a newbie.... Felt a little awkward. He did fine, though and no problems. Mahi was good.... Nothing to unusual.... The broccolini was a bit overdone. My shrimp and grits was very generous.... Probably 10 shrimp! Plenty of sauce too. Didn't need so much grits....I left a lot behind. Also had the tort and the ice cream sandwich. Ice cream sandwich was really good. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a place to go in Staunton, VA.

Food was very good. Waitress almost too friendly! Fish and chips(I had macaroni and cheese instead of chips, which was delish) Very good. Husband had whole fried catch of the day( flounder) he loved it?We ordered the smallest raw tower( not a tower, lol) 6 clams , 6 muscles and 6 shrimp. All tasted good but the clams were so tiny ?not worth the price I felt. Dessert we had coffee and slice key lime pie which took forever to get. Finished my coffee before I received it. But all in all a good meal

Amazing ombiance and the food was amazing. Loved the lobster Mac & cheese. They do run out of whole lobster so if that's what you're looking for be sure to call ahead to make sure they have them.

My wife and I wished to celebrate Valentine's Day with a 'Fresh Fish' dinner so we traveled an hour to dine here. We have recently moved back to Virginia from Europe and are accustomed to dining in restaurants offering remarkably delicious meals albeit at prices considerably lower than what this 'restaurant' charges. So, naturally, (with Entrees for $32.00) we expected to experience incredible cuisine.Wow! What a disappointment!!Perhaps, being a Monday, some portions were left over from the weekend and reheated. Our meals were served to us slightly warm. The rice was cold, dry and tasted like cardboard. The broccoli and potatoes were served 'barely' cooked. The 'crab cakes' were mediocre at best. The only saving grace was the Rockfish - even though it was lukewarm, it was perfectly cooked and the flavor and texture were magnificent.My courageous wife, being German and always speaking her truth (without making anyone wrong) expressed her (our, as I support her 100%) deep disappointment to the manager who returned $25 to us. Even so... we will not be returning to dine here.

Outstanding dinner! Seafood was fresh and prepared perfectly. Unique flavor for the scallops, crab, kale, and pasta dish (maybe sherry?). Very light and delicious. The crab cakes were spot on, with all crab and seasoning - no filler! Highly recommend the food. My only criticism is the place is very open and spread out, making it difficult to create an intimate or romantic dining experience.

This is amazing from the floor up. The service and the food... all of it was amazing! The only stickler is the price... but definitely worth a trip back!

Had steak, bay scallops, blackened and oyster Rockefeller for an appetizer. Wife enjoyed oysters on the half shell. All was excellent. Only downside and it was very minor, was that the steak leaned medium instead of medium rare as requested. Staff were extremely friendly. Will definitely visit again.

They make the best fried haddock and fries around!


One of the group had ordered two appetizers, but asked for one to come out as a main course. However, the main course came out together with the appetizer. Staff noticed as well, charged for both appetizers and then upsold on a third dish – a proper main course. One of the few restaurants open on a Monday and where you can reserve. Opens at 11am - reason why we came here.
